Feb 15, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: WorthyNews

Mohamed Ibaouene, a Christian convert from Islam, was fined 100,000 Algerian dinars for sharing his faith with former co-worker Abdelkrim Mansouri, who filed a complaint with the National Gendarmerie in Tindouf that Ibaouene had pressured him to abandon Islam.

His work?

"Ibaouene denied the charges, claiming it was Mansouri who had pressured him to renounce Christianity. After appealing the verdict, an appellate court overturned the prison sentence, but increased the fine."

Also it will leave a black mark against the religion of islam.
A religion so weak it has to kill or punish those who wish to leave.

Whether Christianity is just another unfounded religion or not is irrelevant; it is still preferable to islam.

This case highlights the strength of Sharia law, a body of law that that does not bend to the selfish demands of lawyers and judges where the guilty go unpunished with the plea bargaining system pushed to its extreme in the USA.

Perfection has to be protected by strength, not polluted by corrupt Western standards.

How much do the filthy, stinking muslims get fined for burning a church? Stoning a rape victim? Hanging a homosexual? Muslims are trash.

Sharia law is proof that Islam does not recognise human rights.
Sharia law is skewed heavily against women leaving them at the mercy of misogynistic laws that in general favour the male.
Western law can be decided depending on the individual case and is not pre-decided by outdated religious rules.

Where is the advantage to society or to the woman who has sex outside of marriage and gives birth to a BASTARD.
Sharia law protects the woman from this disgrace and subsequent poverty.

I don't believe that a plea bargain is for the guilty party to go unpunished in the USA... and I don't believe how sharia law interpreted by humans be the perfection... since it's a human interpretation... If an Algerian court punished some christian because of their belief... I believe that the Algerian court is wrong.

He was not punished for his belief.
He was punished for attempting to impose (convert) his belief (Christianity) onto another.
I hope you can see the difference.

Marriage is a human enterprise not a divine one... your interpretation of the Sharia law is incorrect and does not protect women...the poverty of women are mostly due to your interpreted laws that go against their interrest...

I don't ... if he is an adult ...he is responsible for what he accept... if he was attracted by christianity and converted ...it's his problem not the one who is doing the "conversion"

Marriage is considered a divine institution by most religions.

Regarding women; I would not enjoy the sexualization of my wife for other men to enjoy. Islam eliminates this problem for Muslim couples in their divine relationship.

And since when in Algeria... people start judging other people regarding their belief... this is new .... the next step is forcing people to make Ramadan and waking people to go pray the fadjr.... Algeria is not Saoudi Arabia or Iran...Freedom is what our forfather fough for and no ahole will force anyone to do anything in Algeria...

If you need to read some books... read this good scholar... Tarik Ramadan... he wrote profusely on the subject of Charia law....

Firstly he was "not attracted by Christianity and converted", rather an attempt was made to convert him which he objected to by reporting it to the police.
Secondly the old argument about being an adult and being responsible is an empty argument as this is why con-men are prosecuted.
Why should a person who is not as smart or as experienced as someone else (not as adult) have to suffer.

You still don't get it or maybe you do but are too proud to admit it.
I suspect the latter, as your speech has now degenerated and next we will endure your abuse LOL.
I say again he was not punished for his belief.
Next you are then suggesting that Muslims start doing the conversions etc.
Your whole argument/debate has twisted upon itself to bite you in the backside LOL.

You are wrong ... marriage have no divine origin...
Islam does not eliminate the " sexual exploitation" of women.... education of woman will... I saw the other day in a documentary how some rich saoudis buy poor young egyptian girls for few nights and than "divorce" them....if you don't believe that is the "sexualisation" of women than I don't know what we are talking about....If this girl was your sister and you see your father marry her to an old rich Saoudi... few days later she is a young divorcee...without talking about the trauma she endured.... if you don'tconsider that is exploitation and "sexualisation" of woman then....
I am glad I am an Algerian and these practices are not acceptable...
Marriage is not a divine enterprise...it's human only...

Re. divine enterprise.
If you are an atheist marriage is not divine, but to a Muslim or Christian etc it is and we are talking about marriage in a religious context.
What a rich Arab or non-Muslim does sexually is not relevant.
Money buys any perversion.

You don't make sense.... how someone in Algeria .... come to you and say I am going to convert you to christianity.... look into my eyes.... now you are mohamed and when I am finished with you... you will be Jean Jacques.... why the guy have to go to the "Gendarmerie" to complain.... lol... does he have a tongue to say "fck off" to the converter and legs to move away... so the story is just crazy... a kid will say that there is manipulation somewhere... The judge should tell the convertee... Did you embrace Jesus... if the convertee say ...Jesus is our lord... the judge should ask him to say 10 "Hell Marys" for his punishment and ask to get lost....

OK ...now you are talking "ya kho"... marriage is a contract between a man and a woman only... The old Algerian generation... like my parents... they did not write contracts for anything...they gave "their parole" and it was as solid as a cntract... If a man love a woman and the woman love a man... they really don't need a contract if material things are not involve.... so a contract is safeguarding the material future of the other spouse in case...
If you marry and you wife does not love you.... believe me ...their is high probability that your wife will cheat on you.... if you love your wife and she loves you back the probability is almost nul... so do you still believe that marriage preserve anything...
