There are 20 comments on the www.examiner.com story from Apr 27, 2013, titled Boston bomber's religious hypocrisy . In it, www.examiner.com reports that:

When Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev set-off their bombs on April 15, 2013 during the Boston Marathon killing three people and wounding well over 200 others, they did so for religious reasons. They believed the bombings were in defense of their "revealed"/hearsay religion of Islam and were ordained by God ...

from examiner:

"... As Muslims they believe the Quran is 'the word of God,'(Muslims actually believe the Quran is the FINAL word of God.) As the word of God they believed that whatever it teaches is from God. One of the teachings in the Quran, at Surah 9:5, teaches Muslims to 'slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.' This is exactly what they did in Boston.

"... Islamic "holy" man/clergyman the Imam Talal Eid of the Islamic Institute of Boston refused to hold Islamic funeral services for Tamerlan Tsarnaev. In a statement loaded with religious hypocrisy he stated,'This is a person who deliberately killed people. There is no room for him as a Muslim. He already left the fold of Islam by doing that. In the Quran it says those who will kill innocent people, they will dwell in the hellfire.' It seems Talal Eid has never read the above Quran quotes which call for and justify the killing of innocent people/'idolaters.'"

It seems like there is some sort of really huge game going on. It kind of reminds me of the old pay attention to what I say, not what I do.

The finish line of the Marathon is totally covered in video, it is a poor choice of location for a crime of any kind.

This was a revenge attack:
"This came as NBC special correspondent Tom Brokaw highlighted on Sunday the blowback of US-led wars on the public, saying that the roots of anti-American terrorism are US drone attacks.

“We also have to examine the use of drones that the United States is involved in and - and there are a lot of civilians who are innocently killed in a drone attack in Pakistan, in Afghanistan, and in Iraq,” said the prominent journalist."

Innocent civilians, an eye for an eye, millions of cluster bombs shooting white hot shrapnel everywhere, dismembering young children.
Unexploded bombs for later generations to be maimed by.

So even when the troops return home to derision,
their legacy of "collateral damage" will remain for a century, and for a century revenge attacks will occur.

You really need to tell this to your fellow Muslim who started the thread asking for evidence that they even did it.

All the more reason to expel muslims or not import them - we did not bring in multitudes of German and Japanese during ww2. If they are combatants, or in support of combatants, they shouldn't be here.

But there were no drones/drone attacks prior to 9-11.

Doesn't matter. Islam does not ask that everyone become a Muslim, but anywhere where Allah's law does not rule over them, that is injustice. And Muslims are always commanded to fight injustice. So there will always be a new gripe until this happens. They have no choice, it's in their book. This is what everyone is going to have to deal with, and they already are, but they just don't know it yet.

If Tom Brokaw claims "the roots of anti-American terrorism are US drone attacks" and there were no (armed) drones prior to 9-11, then it certainly doesn matter because his argument falls apart.

And we must not forget that Iraqis themselves and foreign jihadis killed more Iraqis than the US ever did. And they even continue to do so even today after the US is gone. Yes, let's not forget.

If it's not drones, it will be something else. They aren't allowed to be happy until Allah's law rules everywhere. There will always be the house of peace and the house of war.

This is a further legacy that the Coalition, led by the USA, left.
There were no WMD.
Many Iraqs pine for the days of Saddam and curse the Americans for ever interfering.
The USA have realized their past blunders by their softly softly approach to Syria.

Well if anyone on this planet knows about religous hypocrisy it the americans.

How many of you donated to the IRA in the decades when they were bombing the UK? Most with irish roots donated, thinking it was a charity of all things.

Well it wasnt. It was a terrorist organisation funded mostly by americans.
Different when you're on the end of it huh?

You say your god is love, but all you do is hate others who are different, even your own people when they dont fit your little idea of americans what you think an american should be.

... yet sunni and shi'a -- who have been killing one another since the death of their mutual prophet -- continue the legacy of sectarian warfare in Iraq long afer the US has gone.

So Muslims can't control themselves and come to agreement and instead it's all the fault of the US? This fighting between Sunnis and Shias has been going one for centuries. Maybe we should start by asking the question backwards. Is their anything that ISN'T the fault of the US? That might be an easier question to ask.

You need to link that from a credible source, and don't link someone's basement blog.
