St Philip ask Jesus to show him the Father and Jesus did. St Philip didn't ask to told about some allegory between Jesus and the Father.<quoted text> Again so simple , use your own grey matter. The people in Jesus time was known to be simple ,poor village peasants , he at times , lashed out at them " Oh YE with little faith ," To convince them in to believing him he used many different philosophies Allegories in his arguments. There again in his words "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" and : "I and the father is one," One ,yes in the Will, Qadaa and Qadr the good message , in what Jesus are preaching , what he is saying , doing daily the good works of the Father, also in his walking ,eating , sleeping , his very existance is in line in the oneness and the will of the Unique Supreme Sovereign CReator of you and me and ALL of Mankind.
If someone asks me to see my father I don't think they would be happy with me saying: "I look like my father and act like my father, so now you've seen my father."
