Because there is no such evidence from The Bible that prophet Jesus was god or god's son and we only have other people's lies against him, we can never say that Jesus was anything more than a mere human being, chosen by God to be His prophet and nothing more. He was a messenger, afterall, God gave him the message and sent Jesus to THE LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL AND NOT TO THE WHOLE WORLD as some people would like you to be blinded.

I have asked several times, where in The Bible does Jesus himself says in his own words and his own way in any context, that he was god or god's son and I have never gotten an answer. I have received answers which told me that OTHE RPEOPLE ATTRIBUTED LIES TO PROPHET JESUS and that's all.

I can also lie about anything and anyone but I choose to follow The Qur'an which CONFIRMS the previous Scriptures and therefore follow THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

I still ask and still am in the waiting room to get an answer, a direct answer to this:

01. Did prophet Jesus in The Holy Bible ever said that he was god or god's son?

I don't want other people's opinions, I don't want Matthew's comments and beliefs or LUke's or anyone's, I would like to read it from The Prophet Jesus himself, if that's possible.

02. Since Jesus in today's Bible said sometimes that he is greater than the father and sometimes that he and the father are one, people really need to decide and choose which statement will be the correct one.

03. When Jesus was one year old, was he god at that time as well?

Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

The Law spoken of here, is obviously The Law, The Torah, the Book given to the Jewish. Jesus is saying that he is fulfilling it and that means that YOU, people of today, who follow it, should also UPHOLD THE OLD TESTAMENT AS WELL AS NEW TESTAMENT, am I right?

I as a muslim man agree with this:

Exodus 20:4 (New International Version)

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Do you?

Because if you do, than you need to destroy all the images of "mary" and all the images of "jesus".

See, I never call Mary the virgin any names nor do I call names prophet Jesus, I respect them both as I respect all humans, since Adam and Eve until the last human that will live but somehow, still, in the 21., century, in The West, I run into people, claiming they have advanced and made progress, who insult me, prophets and messengers of old times, they insult Islam, Qur'an, they mock, ridicule and even burn Qur'an but when some person burns their building or a bus, then that is called a terrorism and their mocking, ridiculing and insulting was apparently normal, acceptable and dare I say, according to The Holy Bible or am I wrong?

Let me know.

Alen, others were convinced that Jesus was God:
Paul: "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God."
John: "He existed in the beginning with God."2
Peter: "you must worship Christ as Lord of your life."

But what did Jesus say about himself Alen?

Did he ever identify himself as God? According to the Bible...absolutely!

Jesus said Alen, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied." Jesus replied, "Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don't know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father!

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, Moses didn't give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." "Sir," they said, "give us that bread every day." Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

No, that's from "john" who clearly does not have a last name and The Holy Bible also doe snot say that it is a Gospel of the Disciple John but just a gospel of a John, this could be any john out there in any time.

I said I want to read it from Jesus.

Does Jesus have a Gospel?

WARRIOR OF GOD, I know that others are CONVINCED into many things, I know that.
I just said that I'd like to read it from Jesus than.
I have read it from Paul and from Peter and even from John but I never read it from Jesus.

Problems!
No one can come to the father except through Jesus??????
People BEFORE Jesus never knew him. Moses, Noah, Abraham, Adam, Eve,..... right? Noah never heard of Jesus so therefore he will .... end up in Hell???? Makes no sense.
Because Jesus came in the middle of the TimeLine.

Jesus says in The Bible, whoever sees me has seen the father but elsewhere in The Bible it says NO ONE has ever seen the father.
Contradiction?

Well, prophet Noah NEVER came to Jesus and we know that Noah could not have believed in some guy from the future.

Also, Jesus never said before Noah was, I am.
Right?

Jesus is not God.
God sent Jesus to the los sheep of Israel and not to the whole world, remember?

"They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses, and killed every man........Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.(Numbers 31:7,17-18)"

However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

You will NEVER, NEVER find such sentences in The Qur'an, brother. You should acept Islam, follow The Qur'an which does not abandon Jesus, just gives you sense, logic and more knowledge, God willing.

The first three gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, never refer to Jesus as God or even a son of God. In the book of John, the term 'son of God' and 'God' is used so loosely that Jesus even called the Pharisees "Gods"!

"Jesus answered them (the Jewish Pharisees), Is it not written in your law, I said YOU ARE GODS"? If Jesus called the Pharisees "Gods" in John 10.34 (referring to Psalm 82), then any claim that Jesus is God must be taken in context in the sense that we are all Gods! Jesus said so to the Pharisees, who were his enemies!

So here is the claim put forth in the book of John:
1. The Pharisees charge Jesus with blasphemy for claiming he is a son of God. John 10.33
2. Jesus tells them that they (the Pharisees) and everyone else on earth are "Gods". John 10.34
3. This claim by Jesus confers the status of "Gods" upon everyone on earth, thus making himself to have no more power or claim to be "God" than anyone else on the planet! John 10.34 and Psalm 82

Also read the first few chapters of the book of Job, where it claims that there were MANY 'sons of God' running around in heaven long before Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Moses, or Jesus!

The bible clearly states in Psalm 82 and John 10.34 that we are all Gods, so Jesus is no better than any of us when it comes to claiming Godhood. He said so himself!

We are not "all Gods," and you're the one violating context by trying to misapply John 10:34 to other passages of scripture that have nothing directly to do with it.

To begin with, my Bible states that Jesus didn't call the Pharisees "Gods," but "gods" with a lowercase "g".

Psalm 82:6 also reads, "I said, you are gods," i.e., you act as judges on my behalf, as shown by the question in v.2: "How long will you judge unjustly?" (82:2)

Psalm 82:7 states, "But you shall die as men," revealing they are not Gods, even though you tried to hide that fact by using all caps for, "(I said) YOU ARE GODS". The verse should read, "I said, you are gods," but you deliberately put the last three words in all caps.

That's a poor excuse to avoid the obvious conclusion, Alen, esp. after you posted, "Because there is no such evidence from The Bible that prophet Jesus was god or god's son ..."

Then explain John 21:24-28 where Thomas, one of the twelve (v. 24), after being confronted by the risen Jesus, exclaimed, "My Lord and my God" (v. 28).

alen, Jesus gave the Keys to Kingdom of Heaven to His Church and not you. It is Jesus' Church that has the authority to correctly interpret Sacred Scripture and no other.

It has been understood from the founding of Jesus' Church that Jesus is God. This teaching is part of Sacred Tradition and can not be changed by any puff of wind coming from islam.
