Abbas: Jerusalem Is Ours

Dec 2, 2012 Full story: www.breitbart.com 51

Finally, those in the West can take their blinders off. Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas has taken off the veil and articulated what the real war is between Islam and the West: not a war over the land of Israel but the religious war between radical Islam on one side and Judaism and Christianity on the other ...

from breitbart:

"By claiming Jerusalem will be the 'eternal' capital of 'Palestine,' Abbas is not only invalidating Jewish history, but also invalidating Christian history which branched off from its Jewish heritage. The Christian Biblical history acknowledges ancient Jewish claims to the land. From time immemorial Jerusalem was acknowledged as the capital of Israel, with countless references in the Bible and Prophets, as opposed to the Koran, where Jerusalem is never mentioned ..."

The young Muslim Abbas mentioned will raise the Muslim flag over Jerusalem will be the third after Omar Al-Khattab and Salahuddin, may Allah granted them respect.

In April 637, Caliph Umar traveled to Jerusalem in person to receive the submission of the city. Omar came on foot, with his servant mounted on Omar's camel. Following the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem, Jews were once again allowed to live and practice their religion with more freedom in Jerusalem, 8 years after their massacre by the Byzantines and nearly 500 years after their expulsion from Judea by the Roman Empire.

On October 2, 1187 the Christians surrendered Jerusalem to Saladin, who allowed the citizens to leave by paying a ransom. Those who could not pay their ransom were eventually sold into slavery. With the defeat of Jerusalem it signaled the end of the first Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem. Europe responded to this defeat in 1189 by launching the Third Crusade, which was led by Richard Lionheart, Philip Augustus, and Frederick Barbarossa.

Who could be that young Muslim whom Abbas talked about? We shall wait and see the culmination of the current saga.

Muslims will rue the day they tried to take political power in this world. Their children die daily and it will never stop as long as they continue to try to take over our lands and take away our freedoms.

From what I can see, the freedom that you defend are first about man murdering own family members followed by own suicide, and second about man mounting and penetrating another man.

We Muslim will eradicate these corruptions.

Gay and Muslim — Is that even possible? One imam says ‘yes’
http://dailycaller.com/2011/07/28/gay-and-mus...

Daayiee Abdullah has lived three lifetimes in his 57 years.

Born and raised in a black neighborhood in Detroit, Abdullah graduated high school when he was 15 — the same age he came out as gay to his Southern Baptist parents.

After working as a court stenographer and gay rights activist in his twenties, Abdullah studied Chinese languages at Georgetown University. He was introduced to Islam in Beijing in the 1990s, studied Arabic at the University of Cairo, and taught in Saudi Arabia for three years. He is also a lawyer, a counselor, a wedding officiant and one of only two openly gay imams — Muslim minister — in the world.

As an Arabic expert, he says if you understand the vernacular of the time in which the Quran was written, it doesn’t condemn homosexuality. All of God’s instructions about marriages are written in gender-neutral language like “pair” and “couple,” and of the seven things listed as abominations, homosexuality isn’t one of them.

Some British Asian gay Muslims are embracing a new identity, based as much on race and religion as on sexual orientation with a number trying to do it with the help of their local imams....

...Even though it is something entirely covert, the idea of Muslim gay marriages sheds light on the role some imams could be playing in helping people reconcile their sexuality and their faith.

Even when spelled correctly, the name "Jerusalem" doesn't even appear in the arabic qu'ran, so why should it belong to them?

... only because islamists think they own the world.

Research the Bible and you'll find that Ishmael has no share in God's promise to Isaac (Gen. 17:18-21).

She didn't say it belongs to the arabs, she said it belongs to everyone.

In short, she told the truth.

Jerusalem was deemed a free city by the UN partition of Palestine. Either it's a free city, open to all religions or anyone who tries to take control of the city breaks the terms of the partition.

Quite simply: Israel has broken the agreement which gave them a legitimate state in the first place. If Jerusalem isn't a free city then Israel isn't a country.

You clearly missed the point that ownership of the land is a point of law and has nothing whatsoever to do with which fairy tales you personally believe.

I only need to look at the past, to think of the future.

We came in 637 and 1187, and we shall come again in 2022, the latest, God willing.

We kept it for 462 years the first time, and 730 years the second time. The third time will be very, very long.

The crusaders only held for 88 years the first time and 30 years the second time, before handing it over to Israel.

The bible reveals that the land belongs to Israel and them alone. Last time i checked, this was the very city where Solomon built the temple. Now it's talked of being partitioned. Islam could really be a religion of nuisance, it is so pathetic. Their target are mainly christians and anything that concerns our faith. God help us.

Ummm....where we you from 48-67 when Jordanians controlled the city and wouldnt let Jews into it? Why are you concerned with internationalization NOW? And what agreement was broken by Israel? If I recollect, it accepted the UN partition but was then attacked in 48 and fought back.

Perhaps you need to read your history.

Thank you for your honesty.

If that isnt a good reason for supporting Israel, I dont know what is.
