They believe that a man named Jesus — whose return they have been anxiously awaiting for nearly 2,000 years — was born of a virgin and physically resurrected after death. They believe an all-powerful and all-loving God (a three-in-one multipurpose ϋber-being consisting of a Father, Son, and some ill-defined entity called the "Holy Ghost") sent Jesus, his son, who is also himself, to earth to be brutally tortured and killed for humanity's collective sins. Further, they believe that only by accepting this story, and through a steadfast faith in Jesus, and his convolutedly meaningless “sacrifice,” can any human being travel the path toward eternal salvation. An eternity burning in hell awaits the rest of humanity.

This mythology is simply preposterous — easily as absurd as anything from ancient mythology — yet most United States citizens unquestioningly accept it.Why would a God create people so imperfect, then blame them for their own imperfections, then send his son to be murdered by those imperfect people to make up for how imperfect those people were, and how imperfect they were inevitably going to be. I mean, what a crazy idea.

How it's possible for any Christian to muster a sufficient level of hypocritical audacity to criticize other groups’ faith-based beliefs, when their own beliefs are so indefensibly absurd, is as beyond human understanding as their nonsensical Trinity doctrine.

Better thasn following a someone who was mentally defective. Muhammad was an epileptic who had hallucinations. If you believe in people who hallucinate why don't you follow Timothy Leary or any other drug crazed hippie?

Read this and see how epileptics hallucinate.

Simple partial seizures with mental symptoms which can be remembered afterwards, have from ancient times been known as "aura". They are often followed by a convulsion. They are often dream-like, and can be the same each time. Simple partial seizures will often develop into complex with consciousness being affected. As the "aura" is a simple partial seizure, localized changes can often be seen on EEG which show that the seizure is under way.

It is an advantage to have these warnings, as many people can manage to get into a safe place before the seizure starts. On the other hand, hallucinations and dream-like experiences can affect the persons state of mind in a negative way. He thinks that he is going mad, and that others will come to the same conclusion, if he tells them of his experiences.

Look, we Christians know why you mohammedans cannot understand the sinless, perfect Jesus Christ. He never robbed a caravan, beheaded thousands of unarmed men, had sex with slaves, seduced a 9 year old little girl, married a dozen women, killed people for mocking him, or ordered people to lie for him and kill anyone who left the religion he fabricated during epileptic seizures. We know that the murderous, illiterate warlord pedophile named mohammed is a muslim's idea of a perfect man, not a Savior who made the blind see and the lame walk, and certainly not a Man who raised a friend from the dead and raised Himself from the dead after 3 days.

So yes, how can we expect mohammedans to understand Jesus Christ? After all, he never killed anyone or ordered anyone killed, and he never wore a suicide bomb vest like a good mohammedan.

Why does it upset you and bother you so much if some people use their free will to follow Jesus and be a Christian?

I myself was a very unhappy person with no hope before I became a Christian. Now I have joy, peace and hope.

Now let's assume you are right and Jesus and God and Bible is all a lie and at death there is nothing more, we cease to exist. I admit that could be possible as I am not 100% sure Jesus existed or God.

But if I have then lived my life happier and more hopeful, why not? What harm am I doing to you by being a better person and treating people better by following the example of Jesus?

Why do you get so angry about that?

And seeing you don't believe in Jesus, what have you got to offer me that is better? Can you offer me another way that will make me happier and give me more hope? If not, THEN SHUT UP :)

ANYONE who believes in god is mentally retarded. Look at yourselves and then ask, why would a god want ME? Why would your god want someone who so imperfect and why would he even want to give you everlasting life of any kind?

We can't even get along with each other. What would heaven be like with billions of our "souls". Nasty place, huh!

3 is better than 1 of course, don't you know that? ;-)

What!!!! Are you saying that it's not true. I am truly dissapointed.

LOL

Like children they like to read fantasy books, some people never grow up.

They should at least read and believe in something that has a good ending, at least that would provide hope. Masochists all, waiting for an evitable end.

And of course only the ones that read that insane book can be saved. Praise the lord, and the lamb will follow just because it provides hope. False hope that is.

Thank you for the comment.

I never said that everything was by chance, see science can explain itself, but I cannot come anywhere near believing that the universe was created in 6 days. I know you have the proof in the Bible, but since then, did anyone rational back it with facts?

Oh I forgot to mention that God came down and told me last night! Can you disprove that?

I don't think I saw made by God underneath my keyboard, have any other intelligent questions?

Thanks,

The first law of Thermodynamics state that everything is energy and that energy cannot be created or destroyed.

So scientfically, we know that energy has always existed since eternity past.

So if energy has always existed, why is it so hard to believe that this "energy" was and is an Eternal God?

And it is obvious that Muhammad wanted to everyone to know that he was the greatest sex pervert of all times. After all, he claimed to have the sexual stamina of 30 men. LOL So obviously, Muhammad continuously had sex on his mind to say such a thing.

What evidence have you that Mary was 11 or 12 when she gave birth? I've never seen such information.

We do know, however, that mohammed was having sex with a 9 year old child. That makes him a pedophile.

Mary the Mother of Jesus
From Mary Fairchild,
Your Guide to Christianity.

Mary was a young girl, probably only about 12 or 13 years old when the angel Gabriel came to her. She had recently become engaged to a carpenter named Joseph. Mary was an ordinary Jewish girl, looking forward to marriage. Suddenly her life would forever be changed.

http://christianity.about.com/od/newtestament...

Now I ask you 12 years old is indeed awfully young Little Girl so I ask you would that make Jesus father pedophile.
