I understand that you believe you are the center of the universe, but you are sadly mistaken. This isn't your thread, it belongs to Topix. Anyone can post here. Making stupid comments like this practically guarantees that lots of us will post here.

It's a public forum. The public is invited to post, whether you like it or not!

Success in life is not based on having a higher education as your are an example of not being able to get a job.
Yes, let me settle for McDonald's instead so that I can work right next to you.

Success in life comes from knowing when to speak and when to keep your mouth shut. And it is evident you lack the intelligence to understand a simple principle in life of knowing when to speak and when to keep your mouth shut, is a principle that enhances success.
I hope you don't crack your mirror when you look into it and speak to it. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the biggest redneck of them all.

It seems you haven't learned how to take control of your foot in your mouth disease even though you boast of having a higher education.
Smile Seeker!
I just gave you an even better education then the one that you boast of!
Yes, I always like to read the Special Olympics, toothless redneck blog for more education. Thanks a bunch for your timeless wisdom. How did it feel riding the little bus to school and having the other kids tease you about it?

Ummm, uuh, if you ask for replies, it is EVERYBODY'S thread. You can ask yourself questions and then respond to them yourself, and then it will be your thread. That is the way a discussion forum works.

Hey Roy. Why is this your life? How about if I tell you that it's not your life, it's mine. I'm stealing it from you. Would that make you feel better?

I am 21. Why? <quoted text>
At 21 no one has authority to force you to do anything. So you should stop claiming your parents are forcing you to do things.

You could have left the US for Iran at 18.........only your own laziness has kept you from living your dream.

Stop blaming others for your problems and take responsibility for yourself. At 21 you're supposed to be a man...it's past time you started thinking and acting like one instead of a little boy.

He's not using it, you might as well. No reason to let it go to waste.

Hmm, that sounds like good advice. I have made up my mind to man up and I will try to finish my studies and go back to Iran. Hopefully things will work out. I'll be one my own and will work hard. Just pray I master Farsi will you? That's my main obstacle. I have taken my fate in my hands and do my best.

I had a expectation from my parents just to see my family like most others but they are cold towards their family. I am not happy at the way things turned out. I and family just need emotional support. These parents make things difficult.

I feel empty I wanted to see my family. They just hid everything from me. My family, language, culture, I want spiritual support from them. Now I am exhausted.

I don't want to analyse or spend time, but from a few posts I read, your stories just didn't add up.
One that I read was your parents willingness to send you to college (which is usually a significant sacrifice), but you're also blaming them for your being too "thin" because they wouldn't feed you? It is hard to make sense of it.
You didn't answer my first question:
"is it true in Iran that you'd be a muslim at birth even though your parents are not?"

Sounds like your parents gave up on you realizing you are unteachable.

Where I went to school kids respected their parents and learned when to speak and when to keep their mouth shut.

To bad you didn't respect your parents.

God is who He is.
There is no other God besides God.
From the Jewish Scriptures.
4 Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three manifestations of the Lord our God, the Lord is One.

If God was just a single Being He could not function and be perfect in all things and in all ways.

When we elect a President we also elect a Vice President of the same political party.
We do that so that the President has some one who is obedient to the will of the president.

The President alone cannot carry out all the necessary functions of
his duties as President.
He needs someone to represent the President at many different functions of which the President himself cannot attend.

And so it is with God that God presents Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to accomplish all things to the perfection of His Being.
