Kill is, in essence, the opposite of love.

If these backwards savages don't love their own family members, what hope does their society have?

I think the larger lesson here is kind of obvious. If Islam was the ideal belief system than after all these centuries the countries where Muslims have ruled should have long ago been paradises.
Islam is an epic failure.

Too many, here's one of my favorite childhood dessert: Akok (never seen it made here)

Bahan-bahan:
8 biji telur itik
2 biji telur ayam
600 gm gula melaka
2 cawan tepung gandum
6 kuntum bunga cengkih
2 helai daun pandan
1 1/2 biji kelapa

Cara Membuatnya :
5. Panaskan acuan baulu, kemudian masukkan adunan tadi mengikut lubang baulu. Bakarlah dengan api atas dan bawah.

I use to go to an annual Sikh festival in Calgary for the food and swear that aspect of their festival opened the doors for westerners and Indians to find some common ground.

Porkpie, youre right, see this small and simple WHITE HOUSE restaurant that I visited in the past:

All races mix in there to eat famous Malay food - very delicious.

Now you're making me hungry!

It looks similar to Thai food that I've had...although looks can be decieving.

Does Malay food use a lot of red/green curries?

IMO, the Al Khidr story in Quran's Sura 18:74-80 supports killing of currently innocent boy because Allah "fears" that the boy would "dishonor" his parents in the future. Doesn't that qualify as a form of honor killing? And worse, the boy was killed for something that couldn't even take place!

The city is just south oh Thailand, there are a lot of things they share. Yes, the curry is very popular in Kelantan (mostly red and yellow from my experience, I don't recall buying any green curry there). Some of the bust curry I ate were sold packed in banana leaves early in the morning (cheap, for about 2 US dimes at that time!) and sold out in two hours... and they call it a day (nice way of doing business).
