A Pakistani or Syrian or a Nigerian can never be Greek. they can be greek citizens when Pasok ( socialist party )needed their vote ( wink wink) but now they are taken back that.. "previlege".

crisis has it's good points :)

let's be honest.. an african can never be greek just like a greek can never be .. say.. sudanese.. or .. Chinese or whatever so strikingly different and go there and DEMAND to build a Parthenon or Maria Virgin church next to a mosque or a ..totem or a pagoda.

it's called .. first self respect that leads to respect for the"other" much more so if the "other' is the host.

demand is the key word that shows the real motives. It's ok, dont compare Canada and the USA with countries and nations in europe.. muliticulturalism is not the foundation of european nations. In fact.. nation in european terms is the antonym of multi-culti.

of course I cant help noticing a devious attempt to change this.. all over.

so can christians go and build a stonehenge, a parthenon, a church or a colosseum near Kaaba???

THAT'S THE QUESTION proVeritas.:)

My experience so far has shown me that good muslim people just dont follow Quran. they only keep the general idea about God and some traditions, religious ones.. not killing ones.

that's ok, but what if one follows Quran to the letter? That's my big question.

God permitted muslims to marry 4 provided they met conditions as to be absolutely just in all respects, that may disqualify many and God says if you can meet the conditions then only one is permitted.
Mohammad married more than 4 because God permitted him and many of them actually had no sexual angle to them for they were old for that. Some were to foster tribal relations as well and some were gifts by kings and it was considered not done to refuse. But having said that Mohammad is a mighty prophet and choosen by God and God can bestow upon him anything. Mohammad was distinquished among all other messengers by the boon to enact rules in the ame of God.
like I said.. i read the Quran and know exactly how Allah said it.. one wife for you . but if you feel you can share everything EQUALLY among wives, then you can marry more than one But because Allah KNOWS that it's impossible to share everything equally for example your LOVE CANT BE SHARED EQUALLY that's why Allah tells muslims to marry ONE.

But muslims missed that part .. they missed and misinterpreted Allah's words.. conveniently!!

Now come on proVeritas.. Muhamad married more than 4 because Allah permitted him so.. how .. by some kind of contract. any written document of the permission?

i have two candidates waiting can i use that excuse and say Allah permitted me to marry many ?
you will of course ask where that.. permission is.. I will tell you it was together wht the one Allah gave to Muhammed. didnt you read /see/hear it ?

please.. please.. I m trying to make fun of it for otherwise my logic will feel offended .. and..:)

jesus was a kind guy .. why on earth didnt Allah give him any wife and allowed muhammed as many as he could... enlighten?

You tell me wny jews go and knock their heads on the wailing wall, does that make senser? or why you eat he host every sunday, and that funny skull cap, or all those ruuaals you perform and everybody does? Why Satuarday is no work for jews and they can not perform jobs on that day? What is the science behind all this?
Why don't you start telling the truth you pathetic excuse for a man?

The Qur'an:

Qur'an (4:11)-(Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176). In Islam, sexism is mathematically established.

Qur'an (2:282)-(Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women." Muslim apologists offer creative explanations to explain why Allah felt that a man's testimony in court should be valued twice as highly as a woman's, but studies consistently show that women are actually less likely to tell lies than men, meaning that they would make more reliable witnesses.

Qur'an (2:228)- "and the men are a degree above them [women]"

Qur'an (5:6)- "And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it" Men are to rub dirt on their hands if there is no water to purify them following casual contact with a woman (such as shaking hands).

Qur'an (24:31)- Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye.(To be fair, men are told to do the same thing in the prior verse).

Qur'an (2:223)- "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." A man has dominion over his wives' bodies as he does his land. This verse is overtly sexual. There is some dispute as to whether it is referring to the practice of anal intercourse, which it has been used historically to justify. If this is what Muhammad meant, however, then it would appear to contradict what he said in Muslim (8:3365).

Qur'an (4:3)-(Wife-to-husband ratio) "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four" Inequality by numbers.

Qur'an (53:27)- "Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names." Angels are sublime beings, and would therefore be male.

Qur'an (4:24) and Qur'an (33:50)- A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage. Note that the verse distinguishes wives from captives (those whom they right hand possesses).

Miami imam testifies that he lied when he professed support for the Taliban

NO SURPRISE HERE. LIES OOZE OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS LIKE CHOCOLATE

BY JAY WEAVER

In testimony that was at turns deadly serious and comical, a Miami imam accused of aiding terrorists testified Wednesday that he lied about his ostensible support for the Pakistani Taliban because he wanted to obtain $1 million from a purported Taliban sympathizer — who was actually an FBI informant.

Hafiz Khan, 77, the one-time leader of a Miami mosque, said he repeatedly deceived the informant, known as Mahmood Siddiqui, because Siddiqui had promised him the money to help poor victims of war between the Taliban and Pakistan army in the Swat Valley near the Afghanistan border.

Khan, accused of sending money to the U.S.-designated terrorist organization, was unaware that his conversations — in which he wished Americans would die in pursuit of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden — were recorded by the FBI.“What I said was all lies,” Khan testified in Pashto through an interpreter.“It was just because of the money.”

Khan, on trial in federal court since early January, spent a second day on the witness stand on charges of supplying at least $50,000 from 2008-2010 to the Taliban, sworn enemies of the U.S. and Pakistan governments. Khan, charged with four counts of providing material support to a terrorist organization, has maintained that the money he sent from Miami to Pakistan was for his family members, the poor and a religious school, or madrassa, in the Swat Valley — not to arm the Taliban.

“They are totally our enemies,” Khan testified about the Taliban, despite his ardent statements of support in the FBI-recorded phone conversations.

Khan, a naturalized U.S. citizen who came to this country in 1994, sparred during cross-examination with Assistant U.S. Attorney John Shipley, who grew frustrated as the frail yet feisty imam dodged his questions about his true beliefs about terrorism.

Iran’s first encounter with 3G technology chastised by Fatwa

Friday, 22 February 2013
Iran’s first encounter with the 3G mobile technology was disrupted by four ayatollahs’ fatwa stating the new mobile operation system to be a leading cause to sin.(Retuers)

By Al Arabiya

Four grand ayatollahs issued a fatwa that strips Iran’s third mobile phone operator from its rights to use a new 3G mobile internet operator.

The fatwa was issued towards Iran’s mobile service provider, Rightel, which enables customers to use video calling and multi-media messaging technology. The service uses 3G technology which is Iranian’s first encounter with telecommunication expansion.

Iran’s conservative parliament and the four grand ayatollahs are working on shutting down the 3G operator. Ayatollah Alavi Gorghani said providing this technology to the public would inflict damages on the country’s political and religion systems. Another ayatollah said the 3G service Rightel is leading to corruption of Iranians rather than benefiting them.

“It will cause new deviances in our society, which is unfortunately already plagued with deviances,” said ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi.
Residents of Qom, a religious city in Iran, signed a petition against Rightel on Feb. 10, the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Republic accusing the phone company of facilitating “access to sin and decadence”.

Despite what the Iranian government labels Rightel’s 3G service, citizens in Iran are delighted to experience the speedy internet.

Islam or death? Egypt's Christians targeted by new terror group

By Lisa Daftari

Published February 21, 2013

FoxNews.com

Clergymen gather to wait for the arrival of Egypt's Coptic Christian Pope Tawadros II, at the historic al-Muharraq Monastery, a centuries-old site some 180 miles (300 kilometers) south of Cairo in the province of Assiut, Egypt, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.
Egypt's Coptic Christian pope sharply criticized the country's Islamist leadership in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday, saying the new constitution is discriminatory and Christians should not be treated as a minority.

A group of Christian priests from a local Coptic church in Egypt were told to convert to Islam or face death, according to an Arabic news site.

The incident, which comes in the midst of continued persecution and pressure on Egypt’s Christian community, took place this week in the town of Safaga, near the Red Sea, the El Balad site reported.

According to El Balad, the threats are from a new group in Egypt, Jihad al-Kufr, whose name translates to Jihad against non-believers or non-Muslims. The group targets non-Muslims, and reportedly pressures them to convert to Islam.

“It’s not the first time. This is happening every day,” said Adel Guindy, president of Coptic Solidarity and a member of Egypt’s Coptic community who travels between Paris and Cairo.“This one incident caught the attention of the news agencies, but there are worse things happening to the Christians every day in Egypt,” he said.

Christians have felt increasingly at risk since the fall of former President Hosni Mubarak in 2011, which resulted in the rise of President Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

“It has definitely worsened under the revolution. Once the worst part of the society surfaced -- the Islamists -- the Copts are paying a heavy price. The West doesn’t really feel our pain. It’s a war of attrition,” Guindy said.

Copts are the largest Christian community in the Middle East, and the most prominent religious minority in the region. Christians make up about 10 percent of Egypt’s 85 million people.

Very weird, whenever Muhammad the fagot wanted a favour from God, he quickly popped into the cave where his pet Angel Jibril.(Gabriel)( that no one had ever seen) was waiting for him and granted Mohammad whatever he requested.

Even Aisha made a comments of the fact about the Angel in the cave even she did not believe Muhammad that there was an Angel.

haha no we dont eat the host every sunday you mean the communion?

haha we dont eat jesus every sunday it would be boring to eat the same thing every sunday .. plus to do that one needs to fast first and not all people do that..

but the holly communion ( bread and wine ) is a symbolism and who can tell what knowledge jesus had of the ancient greek mysteria... goes back a long way Let's not talk about symbolic rituals.. let's talk about hard reality. womans role is what God wanted it to be.. if Adam needed two ( at least) Evas for Adam be sure he would have provided him two.

all the rest is ..excuses.

when we talk about religion , we dont talk about science that's an old worn out argument here.. we talk about logic. that doesnt compromise God's given one absolute gift to humans. Logic!! and how we wont offend it to explain and excuse the inexplicable and inexcusable.

about science.. suffice to know this:

o Theos aei geometrei.==God for ever makes geometry

but that's another story.. we re talking about how christians 'drink' jesus blood and how jews pound their heads on the wall and how muslims pound women or cover them up to avoid the ugly sight that Allah respects so much and taught his muslims too to respectively respect as much.

Fla. imam's 4th day testifying in Taliban trial

NO SURPRISES HERE!!!!!!!!!!

The Associated Press

MIAMI -- A Muslim cleric accused of financially supporting the Pakistani Taliban is on the witness stand for a fourth day in a Miami federal courtroom.

Prosecutors expect Friday to finish what has been a combative cross-examination of 77-year-old Hafiz Khan. The judge overseeing the case has repeatedly admonished Khan not to give rambling or insulting answers.

Khan is accused of providing more than $50,000 to the Pakistani Taliban, listed by the U.S. as a foreign terrorist organization affiliated with al-Qaida. Khan insists the money he sent overseas was for innocent or business purposes.

Khan also has testified that he lied to an FBI informant about supporting the Taliban in hopes of getting money from the man.

Khan faces 15 years in prison if convicted on each of four terrorism-support charges.

Imprisoned American says Iranian captors 'waiting for me to deny Christ'

By Lisa Daftari

Published February 22, 2013

FoxNews.com

American pastor Saeed Abedini, jailed in a notoriously brutal Iranian prison for his Christian faith, is facing physical and psychological torture at the hands of captors demanding he renounce his beliefs, according to supporters.

The 32-year-old married father of two, who left his home in Boise, Idaho, to help start an orphanage in his latest country, detailed “horrific pressures” and “death threats,” is a letter to family members, according to his U.S.-based attorneys.

"They are only waiting for one thing…for me to deny Christ. But they will never get this from me.”

- Pastor Saeed Abedini

“My eyes get blurry, my body does not have the strength to walk, and my steps become very weak and shaky,” read the letter, sneaked out of Evin prison in Tehran. "They are only waiting for one thing…for me to deny Christ. But they will never get this from me.”

accordingly the whole greek land isnot the original land of islam let alone the Akropolis and certainly not the WH.
good ok, that's the way i like to discuss with people. the Vatican is what it is and no mosque or even orthodox church would be built there and that's how we should respect one's own territory and domain of influence.

I dont even like it when i hear christians say we'll build a church upon every mosque.. i hate it. but be sure i willnot have any mosque be built on..ME.. whatever that means you know....

I bet my head that no church no stonehenge no Parthenon is allowed to be built anywhere near mecca . but look it up it will help.

Imagine a church near.. the Pyramids.. Shame! or a mosque for that matter eh?

btw.. proVeritas.. good islamist Erdogan our Turkish neo ottoman neighbour has OFFERED to build a mosque in Greece.. i guess Athens.. offered to fund it .. just like they do in fyroSkopje.

but the bad Greeks answered THANKS BUT NO THANKS. we will build it on our own money.

but you know.. we are poor now so WHEN we have money again.. we wil.. we will.. WHEN .. and IF ever.

crisis is a blessing in disguise :)))

perhaps our traditional friends Arabs might want to help too but those traditionally friendly Arabs know very well how far to go with Greeks... it's called .. respect. for as long as it is such.

never mind... they found an easy way.. they build a mosque in fyroSkopje every day.. even in villages where there is only ONE muslim.

ok, here's my honest opinion and strong feeling proVeritas. it is against greek culture to have mosques here. it's like a cutlural shock. ok, I know that it's all a matter of habit. but i cant help remembering how i started with "our father " prayer when i got into a mosque in Egypt and how my muslim friend got scared -he said so- by the big cross i had in my house. that's to be respected. it's the shock.

400 years under ottoman yoke havent make muslims out of greeks. it's not in the cards. Having a shick calling every now and then out loud would be depressing. just like I felt and my greek friend said when we were in CAiro.. she said.. oh god i feel like it's Good Friday.. that depressing. how can I say it.. it's incompatible. And we dont have to ..get used to it.

do you really seriously think that Greece needs such attractions ? or the Akropolis needs such decorative support?:))

or do you think we'll have Turks picking on us again and we'll build mosques?
