madhuri is more talented,more beautiful,best dancer & of course have a wonderfl persona.no one miss sridevi today but madhuri still rock the bollywood.u should think when madhuri was nothing sri was no.1 but in the presence of sri mad became a big star.after that start the battle of became no.1 & mads beats sri in 1990.mad has 4 best actress film fare & 1 best supported actress film fare but sri has only 2.sri's has no any film which became a super super super hit like "hum aapke hain kaun".harry u wrote mad done only female oriented role but u should know abt mrityudand,devdaas,lazza &premgranth.i want to tell u hum aapke hain kaun & raaza was sold by name of mads.

There is no comparison of any actress with shridevi,
shridevi is undoudtedly number one, even today nobody achived this, all the othere actresses are still strugling for that number one postion, madhuri well tried but could not last for more than few years,kajol tyried is equal to madhuri, juhi is same, and aishwarya is not in race. so whenever competition is there shridevi is an ultimate winner, she won national awards, many fimfare awards and many other awards, she ruled in kannada ,tamil , malyalam, telgu and hindi film industries. worked with many many people, most number of hits, and was number one for more that a decade, and she was called lady amitabh, and also she got paid more than amitabh , so shridevi is number one

ppl plz..... they are two individuals and both are my favourites.... sridevi has done a wide range of roles which madhuri hasn't done, but this does not mean that she isn't versatile because she is e.g lajja, anjaam, mrityudand, beta etc... sridevi can never dance like madhuri... can u imagine her doing "kahe chhed mohe" or "maar dala" ... no way... but sridevi still dances well but nit as good as madhuri...they both have good comic timing but sridevi has done more comedy roles... stop this nonsense about who's better they're 2 different ppl and i wish God gives them the best in life

I completely agree with you. Beta and Raja were Madhuri's films. Beta was written for Sridevi though. Proofs on internet (youtube etc) can be found. Sridevi rejected it. Anyhow, Madhuri could not carry any other hit on her shoulders alone. The hero was more important. But only 2 female oriented hit films to her credit. While Sridevi has many - Chandni, Judaai, Laadla, Chaalbaaz, Sadma, Nagina.....

And what would you say about Sridevi's versatlity to remain No.1 in regional films of south and hindi cinema as well.

Madhuri is over rated... Being Marathi helped her a lot....
