The British Government of India was facing more problems from Hindus than those from the Muslims.
That's why it tried to divide Hindus more and more,while the same British Government of India, tried to unite Muslims more and more.
It, own its own accord, called Sir Saiyad Ahmad Khan, and proposed him to run a movement for a separate Muslim University.
Why did it go to all the trouble?

Certainly not.
The British Government was never so good.
Neither for Muslims, nor for Hindus.
Both the Muslims and Hindus were dirty black Indian dogs for it.
It did never even try to hide this inhuman attitude to the Muslims and Hindus both.
They were the WHITE DEMONS who were ruling India then.
They did not value humanity.
They valued color more, in actual practice.

After more 90 years only, in 1947, India won its Independence.
Only 190 years of the British rule, thus, on India.

The British were never popular with Indians, neither they cared to be ever.
