Tantric Sex

Does anyone knows what tantric sex really means?
I'm interested in this subject.

In the West what people call Tantra is not real Tantra. Tantra is a method to realize Vedanta. The sex part is a very small part of Tantra. Its use is to help the person realize Brahman not have fun with sex.(Not that sex is bad)

Who would not be, except when you have some other goal in view? That is tantra, when the goal is to understand oneself and control one's desires. Tantra practice uses the five Ms, Madira (Wine), Matsya (Fish), Mamsa (Flesh), Mudra (Money), and Maithun (Coitus).

Each thing is taken up and discarded. Wine is drunk, but the focus is on what happens when you take a large quantity of it. How you forget to control your feet and hands or the way you talk. Fish and meat are eaten, but the focus is on how it looks uncooked, how an animal cries and feels pain when it is killed. Money is taken, but the focus is on what humans do to accumulate it, how they engage in unethical practices, how they harm others to accumulate money. Similarly a womens body is observed, but the focus is to consider it as your mothers'.

Under the guise of tantra, those who fake it engage in all kinds of practices, but that is not true tantra. Tantra is a way to break free from desires, so that you can tackle the philosophical questions.
