Stranger,here I am in full agreement with you (do not say I did not apply my mind). In Delhi if you drive it is a nightmare, with people honking and trying to hit you from all sides. If you do not allow someone to pass prepare for choice abuses, and if someone brushes against your car (he may be at fault) you can get a fractured arm.
At the slightest pretext you are abused. In Europe if you are standing on the sidewalk, drivers will stop to allow you to cross, in India if you try to cross at the zebra xing, somebody will shout if the road belongs to your father.
The list is endless but ? If a minister is going somewhere you wait for hours for the chaos to clear.
My only objection is that the malady has nothing to do with faith and for chaos a particular faith can not be blamed. India, Pak and Bangladesh have much in common.

For political reasons all the different sects of Islam and also of Christianity are counted as one religion and referred to as either Muslims or as Christians.
When it comes to Hinduism or Sanathana Dharma, they don't bother to count all the Sanathana Dharma religions or off shoots of Hinduism as one religion. Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains are all Hindus and should be counted as the one religion called Sanathan Dharma. |
