The below link Shows Supreme Hindu God Shiva. This piece is at present on view in the Etruscan Museum at the Vatican in Rome. Encyclopedia Britannica mentions under the headings "Etruria" and "Etruscan" that between the 2nd and 7th centuries BC, northern Italy was known as Etruria. During excavations many such "meteoric stones mounted on carved pedestals" are discovered in Italy. Obviously, therefore, this one was dug up from the Vatican itself. Many more must be lying buried in the Vatican's massive walls and numerous cellars. Vatican is itself the Sanskrit word "Vatica" applied to Hindu cultural-cum-religious centers as in "Ashrama-Vatica" or "Dharma-Vatica" or "Ananda-Vatica." Therefore, the Vatican was obviously a Hindu religious seat before its incumbent was forced to accept Christianity.

In Ireland they had a Goddess named Caillech she looked and her name sounded alot like Kali. In Finland she was called kalema. They were the Goddess of destruction.

Of course, Shiva being worshiped out of the environs of India is a figment of imagination of hindu fundamentalists, but the phallus symbol was used by many people. People in Europe and Central Asia adopted Christianity or Islam because of partly because of attrocities.

@Aupmanyav- Is God Shiva not worshipped in Afghanistan. There is a Ancient Shiva temple in Tashkant, Uzbekistan. Ancient Vishnu Statue was found in Russia. Shiv Lings are excavated in Italy. There is a Hindu Temple in Baku, Azerbaijan. Is God Shiva not the Principle Deity all over SE Asia till Phillipines.
Do you know that Tang Dynastry in South Eastern China worshipped God Shiva.
Japan too worships Ganesha,Shiva, Yama and Saraswati.

There are evidence on settlement of Hindu Traders and Hindu temples destroyed by Christians along the shores of Iraq.

Christians missionaries destroyed Hindu Temples and killed many Hindus thus for fear of life many Hindus converted into Christianity. Wherever Christianity went, it destroyed the native culture.

Kabul had a hindu king as late as 1,000 BC. For the hindu inflence in Thailand, Combodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines, the Cholas and merchants of Bengal (Tamralipti, etc.) and Orissa were responsible. I am not sure if the Cholas reached Mexico/Peru.

As for hindus in Middle East, we had Mittanis (Aryans) and perhaps Hittites also. I am intrigued about Phonecians, were they a shoot of Panis, Bania, Vaniars, though I agree that it is just a conjucture.

yes... it was called the roman empire and the bloodbath known as the crusades... then along came the Turks-- and well, you know the rest.

If it wasnt for those two groups Christianity and Islam would not be as widespread as they are today.

Because there is so many ristrictions in the way Hindu live there life. we cant eat non-veg, we have to bath every morning and do prayer and after that you can eat any thing. hindu is not a cruel people and they always have soft heart towards mankind. they are not always fighting for unnecessary desires as the others which called as jihad but I think there is no jihad who says that one should kill people. hindus always respect the pagamber mohammed and jesus christ as the guru of there religion but they are not god as both of them say that one Angel had asked them to do so. Who is that Angel can anyone guess they are our loving Lord Shiva called Mahadev.

Ravana the King of Lanka was a devotee of Shiva. He once worshipped Shiva and when asked for a boon said that he wanted to carry Shiva to Lanka. The Lord agreed with the condition that Ravana will not put Him down anywhere and if he(Ravan) does so the Lord Shiva will permanently sit down at that place. Now the whole world was Hindu then and Lanka was Africa(with lots of gold and dark men). Ravana while carrying Shiva got a call of nature and could not control himself. He put down the Lord and then Shiva refused to budge. The place was Kaba and Lord Shiva was then worshipped as Kabaleshwara. Lord Brhama (Abraham) worshipped at Kaba and declared it a permanent place of worship. This is the reason that Mohammad who was a Holy man continued the worship of Kabaleshwar the God of Brhama. The later Islam 300 years after the death of Mohammad (the son of Moh Maya another name of Durga).

Greek form of paganism was also similar to Hinduism. You can't deny that many of the convert in those region were following similar philosophies but not Vedic Hinduism. Phallus worshiping was also found Egypt, Greece and Northern Europe.

If you do further research natives of every land eg. Africa, South America, north America, etc were following some 'pagan' philosophies very much similar. Unfortunately many other form of paganism have been killed by other religions. Hinduism is the only living religion.
