Who believes in marriage being a lifetime commitment, and longs for a very close knit family life. What are the real chances of me meeting an Indian young lady who would consider me for marriage? DCDC, why discourage him? It is a matter between two people. Let him try. I do know a few Indian ladies to have married black/mixed people. The daughter of the principal of the school where my daughter-in-law works here in Delhi, has married a Nigerian (I suppose), an architect. The principal's (Agrawal) wife was German. Hey dude....

It's better you find a desi woman from America or a western country. In india, the families have a lot of trouble in allowing foreigners (whether they be white or black) INTO the family.

They'd respect you a lot as a foreigner, but to "give their daughter away"... wud be a very hard step for them.

South Indian Hindus are more Orthodox Hindus than North Indian Hindus. It is not easy to marry a South Indian Hindu. You can try South Indian Christian.

dude i'm a blackman and i've been with an indian girl for about 3 years now. i met her in america, however she is from kerala. when it comes to my expierience, its bitter sweet. she choses to be with me no matter what, but her sacrifice invokes this control factor. so dont get on an indian woman hunt and pass up the other good apples out there!
