Falun Gong's Shen Yun Show: Not worth it at

I spent $100 to sit in an empty theatre and watch one of the most boring, repetitive dance performances I have ever seen. The dancers are technically very good but without emotion or expression. There was no continuity between the dances and no real story. There was a choppy sense to the whole evening with very monotone narrators. There was no production at all. They could really improve on this by having a character as the narrator and he weaves into each story with a dance segment and the narrator voice over. Stopping the dancing for a very mediocre soloist to sing a completely boring opera in the middle also didn't help.

I was so disappointed that I left at intermission because I was more interested in going home to finish my laundry than to stay and watch the second half. Judging by the completely empty theatre I don't think I am alone in my opinion.
