The rise of militant atheism

Is religion good for society? Is the Bible really a good book let alone 'The Good Book'? And does God really exist? Can we prove it? A group of militant atheists have been giving a resounding and vehement "No!" to all these questions, much to the consternation of Christians.

Hi Nina: Not many years back a large part of the world had religion replaced with atheism and guess what, the atheism program was worse then the religious one(they destroyed many more lives). It seems to me that tyrants that do not believe in a god are just as evil or maybe moreso than tyrants who believe in a god.

Really? Exactly when has religion EVER been replaced with atheism?

I'm sure you are talking about Stalin and/or Hitler. Stalin had the state church in place during his reign. Stalin may very well have been an atheist, but there is a big difference between an atheist state and a communist state.

Hitler was fully supported by the Roman Catholic church. He was raised as a catholic. Nazi Germany was a fascist state, not an atheist state. Big difference there as well.

Now, perhaps you could provide some samples of any governments set up on the documented principles of atheism?

If you think that atheism will save the world then look at how well it did with people under the communist regime. Who said Atheism wants to save the world? Its just a lack of belief in claims made about there being Gods. Has nothing to do with communism. I am an atheist and am totally against communism.

Atheism is a definite belief in an idea that cannot be physically proven to be true, so as such it qualifies as a religion. Christianity, a belief in a dead jew on a stick that was probably a homosexual because he hung around with 12 guys. Or maybe he was a dork with a small tallywacker and couldn't get laid? The Christian faith is a bad copy of Pagan and Egyptian mythology. And even today we see the paganism involved in the faith, eg, Christmas, Easter and even the trinity which teaches God fucked his mother only to conceive himself, then only to commit suicide.
If you find this offensive, well I am personally sick of Christians defining what an Atheist is, So I am going to define Christianity based on it's history and the stupidity of it's teachings. In a nut shell, Christians are Pagan copycats.
