One of my former pastors wives told me that where there is false teaching/doctrines..there will be found sexual sin(s)..I have used that as a good guideline and it has certainly helped as it has been proven many times.........As a young person delivering newspapers over 40years ago...I remember reading in the newspaper ..concerning aids..it was a concern then...it does not take very long to figure out that a disease that does not have a cure will become epidemic...
.
1. Where there are false prophets- there will be found "every form of iniquity." Not only sexual sin will be found there. It is a good rule. Another good rule is the person will be weak on scripture, not teach repentance, not preach the gospel.
2. The 1st AIDS case in the United States was in 1981. Deckard's prophecy was very detailed. He said that the government would at first hide the magnitude of it, then they would claim they could cure it... and finally admit there is an uncurable epidemic, all of those happened.
I think Deckard is spot-on accurate. He was a boilermaker for many years, during which time the crews prayed with him, and there was not one single fatality the three years at his last shop. This had never happened before. Prophet Deckard's stories like this can all be investigated and confirmed.

Again, all of this is heresay. GIVE ME FACTS. you say he prophesied all of these things. Guide me to verifieable proof that this done prior to the occurance of SPECIFIC incidents. Any moron could make most of the vague prophecies I have heard come out of the mouth of this man myself, in person.

If this man is TRUELY a prophet, everyone needs to know he is legitimate. God expects us to take many things on faith. Prophecies are made to PROVE God is revealing himself in our times.

Can anyone show me a single instance of one prophet in the old or new testament that had to continually brag about his 100% accuracy? Can you show me even one prophet who bragged about 1 of his prophecies come true? They simply gave their prophecies and let God show himself as the source of power behind it all. They let him have the glory.

True Prophets are humble. Confidence that you are in God's will is one thing but this man is full of himself.

WAKARUSA - A body found in rural south Shawnee County today has been identified as a Wakarusa man who disappeared September 9.

Larry Carls, 49, was found inside a barn at 9035 block of S.W. Morrill, said Carls' sister, Vera Brinkman.
The Shawnee County SheriffÂ’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the man.
Carls' body was found by his father, William Dale Carls. William Carls had been on his way to work in a field on his property at 1:30 p.m. when he noticed an unsecured barn door. While checking the barn, William Carls discovered the body of his son and called 911.
Deputies arrived at the scene and confirmed the man found inside the barn was dead and probably had been for several weeks.
Brinkman said the Shawnee County Coroner's Office confirmed her brother was found in the barn.
"He had been there a while," Brinkman said. "There was no food, just a sleeping bag and water."
Brinkman said Carls was associated with a religious group that promotes fasting. She said Carls had been on two seven-day fasts in July and August and had lost about 50 pounds.
Brinkman said Carls left his home in the middle of the night on Sept. 9. She said a note left for his wife and 4-year-old son stated he needed to get away and be alone so he could "find out what God wanted him to do."

I just got done watching Fasting for Power and Annointing - all 2 hours and 40 minutes of it. In all of that time Tom Deckard only briefly touched on the dangers of lengthy fasts and only in regards to using caution when coming off of a fast. He made many references to scripture and made a case for fasting and prayer - but lenthy fast can be dangerous.

Larry Carls died because of fasting. The DVD of Tom Deckard I watched ... it belonged to Larry, literaly.

I don't care if you believe Deckard or not, but if you do, be careful when you fast. See a doctor first. Don't be alone during a lengthy fast. Please.

I agree that prophets should be tested, so I did. I can't attest to the 9/11 or Aids prophecies, I wasn't there.

but I was in stockton in June of 06 when He said to sell your homes, sell everything of value while you still can get some money for it. At the time our house had just been put on the market for 425,000. It sold for 325,000 in the last month that houses in our area sold for much at all.

6 weeks after we closed it lost another 100,000 in value and as of Dec 08 is valued at less than our construction cost 12 years earlier. Glad we were out! Ours is just one house, what caught my attention was a national news report that I saw in Oregon listing Stockton CA as the forclosure capital of the nation. I checked the real estate valuation chart for a couple neighborhoods in stockton and saw that the same thing had happened there that happened in our little town an hour south.

He said that crops would fail in central California. check the news for 06 and 07
That year we had massive crop failures particularly in oranges and grapes. The food bank that I helped with was putting together food to send to the farm labor housing areas because there was no work

He said that California would burn from the mountains to the ocean. Again, documented by a news report.

more recently, when he told us to get out of the stock market we listened.

We haven't lost anything in our retirement investments in the last 3 months, in fact we are a little (very little) up, how many can say that?

The most convincing argument for me however is that he is teaching from the whole bible, you get people taking clips out of what he says to try to prove he is teaching stuff he isn't saying. If you want to hear what he is saying about paul, you cant get it in a you tube clip, pull up a chair, it is 10 hours of systematic bible study. you don't have to spend a dime, I can send you the audio files.

Has anyone seen the Colin Powell interview on Meet the Press where he says there will be a major crisis on January 21 (look it up on youtube). Coincidentally the same day that Tom Deckard says that a nuclear war will be started.

Check out the fruit is in his life, not what you see on the stage. Go to his home town and ask around about the false prophet and you'll find where he lives and what he really does behind the scenes. He left a congregation to marry his mistress now his wife and continue the "act" of holiness. You don't see him smoking cigars and drinking beer on the utube. Ask one of his congregation members how many women in the church he approached for sex? Ask one of his former elders about his temper and now so holy language. Why hasn't any of his former church members followed him to this new movement on the internet and meetings? He's a liar, a demon, the father of all lies.

I have a brother involved in this group. The group is "preparing" for the Bird Flu that is going to wipe out America. Please give more info on Tom. Talking against him is akin to talking against God and I can't get thru to my brother. He is spending thousands of dollars. He is also saying the "prophet" is encouraging people to fast 3 days before coming to a meeting and that a person involved in the group should be able to fast 3 weeks! I am very concerned, but feel helpless.

"many will say to me in that day, lord lord have we not done many wonderful works, in thy name cast out devils, and so on" and then will i say to them, depart from me, ye that work iniquity, i never knew you" "and he decieved them by the means of those miracles which he had power to do" the only test for these "so called" prophets is found in the scriptures....it says..."to the LAW and to the testimony, if they speak NOT according to this word it is because there is NO light in them" god's LAW they must agree with......now its easy for folks to say "oh i beleive in the 10 commandments" however so many today follow the papacy in keeping of a man made commandment (namely the sabbath commandment) instead of honoring god's 7th day sabbath, they will teach and keep the institution of the devil (the 1st day of the week) hmmmmmmmm, should make one easy to be judged as whether or not they are a TRUE prophet.

True Prophets are humble. Confidence that you are in God's will is one thing but this man is full of himself...as JohnG said.

Luke 21:7-9
7"Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?"

8He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,'I am he,' and,'The time is near.' Do not follow them. 9When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."

Jeremiah 14:13-15 (New International Version)
13 But I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, the prophets keep telling them,'You will not see the sword or suffer famine. Indeed, I will give you lasting peace in this place.' "

14 Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries [a] and the delusions of their own minds. 15 Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying,'No sword or famine will touch this land.' Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine.

Why doesn't Tom Deckard prophesy next weeks winning lottery numbers? Too materialistic, not from God, huh?

Why doesn't Tom Deckard resurrect the dead? Jesus did. That would be something a lot of people would notice.

How about feed 5000 people with a few fish and bread? Walk on water? Escape a lion's den? Heal an amputee? Turn a river into blood? Turn water into wine?

But to predict that 'California is going to burn' is like saying it 'will rain in Seattle'...

My stockbroker has been prophetic about the stock market too...so has the realtor.

The real question is for me, How much does it cost to have a miracle done these days?

He's a scammer, plain and simple. He is buying an island in the Bahamas for $5 million. THAT really sounds like something Jesus would do. There is no accountability with the tithes, apparently.

I called Him Father wrote:
What I can say is this,
I was a part of TDM (Tom Deckard Ministries) for 12 of the 15 years before it dissolved. Yes ,there were things that should have never happened, as does in many churches today. I learned many valuable teaching and received a massive foundational instruction that I carry with me even now. I saw many healingS and deliverance as well.
If any of you are interested in knowing more about him try calling him Tom Deckard, Mt.Carmel Illinois, area code (618)
There were many facets of TDM that were wrong not just Tom himself, there was a body of Elders that could have stepped in BUT many were blind (like myself) or were full of fear because the domineering young prophet would bite there heads off if he was approached incorrectly.
Things were right, I remember the standing room only in Fairfield, Ill, and the many people who received Jesus Christ....I remember the "wally wall bangers" and the "oil pouring" services we used to have. I remember the night Tom washed my feet and the whole flock's feet. I remember the night My tounge was anointed with oil that launched a music ministry in me that even last Sunday Abba used to touch HIS heart and others.
True, problems, yes, issues...HUGE ONES NO DOUBT....prophet or not, that is not the question.....curse or blessing because of speaking about a prophet......fact is prophet or not.....he is a man , his blood runs red if he is cut. He has to have air to live....if his expression of the Lord is to bring the judgments of the Lord....let him....if you don't like the message, turn him off and with maturity and grace tell your friends to be careful.....to look deeper and let the Lord speak to them. That is your duty as a Christian, but to slander, backbite, gossip and speak evil of anyone is FLATLY WRONG.
Since you have been around Tom for 15+ years are any of his claims reliable or true? Has he cured illness, performed miracles like making it rain in Malawi? I googled Malawi for rainfall that flooded and contaminated the drinking water and could not find anything. I would like to know if any of his predictions are true. I cannot seem to get any info on his claims. Since you were around him can you verify any of his claims? Thanks for your help.

To those that have family members trapped by this drug pusher.

He anoints with oil on the tongue.
The oil he uses is laced with marijuana and other drugs to control and change mental moods. This is why it is so easy for him to high jack their minds.

Decker, Prepare for you end. I am coming for you. Drug pushers burn in hell.
