I was actually there for the solstice. It was pretty crazy, the constant drizzle totally sucked. There was a whole lot of drinking and drugs going on, but what I thought was pretty cool were the police, they were really tolerant and they did not harass people and they were respectful. I just wanted to give the English police praise, because I think if more police depts would follow their example their definitly would be better communication and respect between the public and police.

Perhaps there was no law agianst the use of drugs? If that were the case, there would be no duty to arrest those that violate the law.

Perhaps there was no law agianst the uses of drugs? If that were the case, there would be no duty to arrest because there is no law forbidding the drugs. Police are very strick about following the letter of the law. We probably don't have access to the official possition of the British government. Is a better way of putting it.
