<quoted text>You really believe this twaddle? I think i've found the impossible - a Canadian who can make even the most inbred, seven-toed Alabama redneck look like an Oxford scholar.'Sir' is a contraction of 'Seuir' which is a contraction of 'seigneur' meaning Lord. All these titles are derived from the Latin 'senior' for 'elder'. Satan is a contraction of 'Shaitan' meaning 'adversary' in Arabic. The word Satan was unknown by western christians til the crusades.
Whilst your posts are entertaining in an incredulous & baffling way, you really do need to get outside and visit a library.
Put down your King James Version (written to validate a homosexual Scot) and log off your conspiracy websites. Put on your tinfoil hat and try the real world. Don't try speaking to women yet though - you're obviously not ready for that yet..
But you are only a serf, Queen's subject or a peasant.

The British Crown owns most the land in the United Kingdom.

Now go bow down to your inbred German Queen.

Listen, human sacrifice is not part of my belief system (unlike yours), nor is it for any other pagan I know of. Maybe it was for superstitious folk in ancient times, but I can assure you our beliefs are allowed to evolve and are not set in stone like yours.
Tell me, as good followers of YAHWEH, have you killed your first born sons and given them to your god in his preferred form of burnt offerings? If not, why not? The Old Testament speaks of your god as a terrible tyrant, so please, don't get it into the old 'my god's better than your god' game with me....because you'll lose.
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:14

For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Even Satan can take the shape of an angel of light.

He always seeks to destroy by coming in a false guise.

"Satan does not need to receive worship to achieve his goals. All he has to do is to keep a man from following Jesus. Satan knows that anyone who does not follow in the teachings of Jesus does not have God." - 2 John 9

That's why Canada and Australia are banana republics.

The British Commonwealth is filled with third world countries, failed states, slave plantations, dictators and tyrants.

The monarchy in Britain has existed in its current form since the 10th century. The monarchy encourages the continuation and acceptance of outdated traditions and beliefs. Britain's image abroad is of an outdated nation living in the past.

A hereditary monarch representing the feudal society of medieval England is intolerable in a modern democratic state. As long as the monarchy survives, so will the class system in Britain.

Time to get rid of the old system and establish a new one.

Abolish the monarchy! Take for example the Irish Republic, it has the highest per capita income than the other countries in the UK.

From the story
He said there's a "better understanding that Stonehenge was a monument more significant at the winter rather than summer solstice--

Can or will someone explain why that is to me?

I must admit I know little on this subject.
All the same find it curiously fascinating.
Thanks

It has to do with the upcoming planting season in spring. When winter solstice comes, one can count the days to the best time to plant. It was important for survival. Also, off topic, stonehenge was in place 3,000 years before druids came to being, so who cares who visits. It is a special place for all who is human, period.

Lizzy Tudor:
1. Where did human sacrificing come into this gathering?
2. Shall we discuss the heinious practices that had taken place according to the Bible?
3. There are Christian Pagans - if you don't like that, then fair enough.
4. Satan. Isn't he a Judeo-Christian notion or being?
5. Care to explain how reverence and celebration of a pivotal point in the seasonal cycle is more evil than the materialism and greed that takes place two days after this?
6. Isn't ignorance bliss? Go and do some research if you're after some decent respect.

bloke, it has an alignment in the direction of the western sunset at the solstice--the sun would have been framed by the arches of the tallest trilithon--24 feet high--and sat for a moment on top of the altar stone. Far more impressive than the summer solstice actually. Also at nearby Durrington walls, where the people lived, archaeologists have found evidence of huge midwinter feasts.
as for the human sacrifices that people have mentioned-there may have been. I could offer possible examples but then, this was common across the ancient world. However, sacrifice means to 'make sacred' and often this, however misguided, was done 'for the tribe', not some scene out of hammer horror. I see it as no worse than terrible events such as the Spanish Inquisition and witch hunts, which condemned and murdered total innocents who actually happened to be CHRISTIAN, just like their tormentors!

Heather,
Satan by any other name is Satan. Just because Druids pretend he does not exist does not mean he does not. He lives in heresy like Druidism and female centered "nature" religions. When you get sexually attacked by a spirit or assaulted and terrorized by these Satanic creatures, don't tell me as I will say, "I told you so."
I think Ignorance is bliss in your case because you refuse to see simple truth and come out of darkness and enless ritual leading to more homosexuality, and lack of family values.

If you think the druids sacrificed people what about the Torturous terrible things the christians did to poor innocent people through the burning times, 'perfect little christians' murdered, slaughtered, raped, and ripped once happy communities up and a lot of lies about pagans were thrown about so the romans could take power, all in the name of their loving god that doesnt hurt anyone...... If everyone just respected everyones choice of belief and got on with their own business it would be much better in my opinion anyway...

Unfortunately we can try to teach others about the actual beliefs of the pagan faith, but narrow minds refuse to give..ignorance is the lack of knowledge but able to learn, stupidity and narrow minds are forever.

How hard can this be for you to understand?

Satan is a foreign character from a Middle Eastern belief system, who has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the beliefs of druids and British pagans.

Yet they believe in Hades[Hell] which comes from a pagan religion anyway...
