It is not only the members of the church who committ crimes like this, but the leaders in authority as well. Pastors are warned about them and nothing happens. It is the pastor's responsibilty to NOT allow these sick men to be in authoriy, especially around young people. As for their backgroud check, that is a joke. They need to check all state records and talk to the previous victims. Churches will continuet to allow this until they are sued for what their appointed leaders are and do to innocent victims Some sickos just hired expensive attorneys and have any allegations removed from public records. These pastors are in for a rude awakening and its at the expense of innocent victims and the ruin of lives.
