He has truly been immortalized and the message has been preserved.

Christ, christos, Krishna, are just words that mean spirit submissive to God, obedient to Him.
Over the centuries many righteous people have developed(received)that spirit and become God's agent(prophet)to guide people along the right path to peace and understanding of their place in the universe. Each language and faith has its own name for this spirit.
Christ is the higher level of spiritual understanding and the job given to 'Christ' is to bring people back to the right path.

The origin of the word, Easter has nothing to do with Passover or your Judeo-Christian tapestry of lies. Go look up the etymology of Easter; you'll see the word comes from the name of a "pagan" Goddess. Keep honoring the God(s) you condemn!
