Err,....ah....no. You really can't 'see' air.
Blowing up a balloon would exhibit 'the effects' of air.
Similar to how you can see the effects of God's holy Spirit in a reformed sinner's new personality in The Lord.
Just don't... that is a straw man. There are several known ways to detect air, its moment, how it interacts with objects (ever been in a wind tunnel)?

There is no such way to detect any existence of your god.

You gave a bad comparison.

The reason he's called 'Thor' is because of his lisp and how he felt after defying The Lord.

Welcome to Obamaland, it's a Brave New World.
Persecution for Christians and a failure for government and people in general.
Persevere in prayer, righteousness and working for The Lord.
Persecution really? Not letting you guys spend government money on your religion is persecution?

Also, what states ban Christians from holding a public office?

been reading about the abolition of slavery ..and i have found no atheist has pushed for abolition of slavery , it was Christians
the only thing i see Atheists push for are gay marriage and abortion and legal suicide...all selfish motives.
i see the changes for good was done originally by Christians , hospitals schools, working hours for men...
Atheists just expect these things now, but forget that most of what they benefited from came from Christians.
But now since Christianity has been pushed aside..I am noticing employers have no consideration for working their workers to death for as little as they can pay
and I notice medical expenses have sky rocketed as men no longer see professional life as service and help to fellow man, but to line their pockets.
yes you certainly know when Christians are led by the spirit in an environment , for they see a need and roll up their sleeves
in cities those feeding the homeless and the poor are Christians..not atheists..
Maybe you should also ready about how Christians were buying/selling and transporting them.

Also, I think you forgot (or omitted) what happened when atheists would speak up. Being burned at the stake is not really my cup of tea.

Strawman much? There is pleanty of good things that Christians have done, as individuals! It takes an idividual to come up with an idea, such as school. Whether that person is a christian or not, is completly irrelevant.

Charities don't need religion. You are either to lazy to do any research, or love to lie for Jesus. There are hundreds of Secular charities. Atheists donate time and money everyday.

And by the way, is it not your Christian right wing loons that want to end or at very least defund programs like Social Security, Medicare, food stamps, etc. HOw very christian of them. The reason these governemnt programs are in place is, however giving someone is, they will not automatically fork over a thrird of their income to pay for those who can't.

Another specious comparison. We know the air is there...we breath and know we must. Try not breathing...

So you blow where you will? Isn't that against the rules?

I don't doubt atheists get on the band wagon once it gets rolling..after all they are out to prove a point.

but as for having an original 'good' idea, they don't have any.

just look at the countries in the middle east that threw out and persecute Christians..look at what they are doing to their own people..Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan..those poor people haven't any idea that Christianity is the basis of the idea of civilized behavior.

Another trend , is since atheists taken JESUS out of the classroom..in come the 'gun' as students just shoot anyone they don't like...

you know no love being taught as God is love.

atheistic thinking takes one down hill into the mire.

I like the way Gods word puts it

Psalm 73 [8] They scoff and speak about what is bad

About defrauding they speak in an elevated style

They have put their mouth in the very heavens

And their tongue itself walks about in the earth'

I like scripture stating they speak in an elevated style...we have seen them, insinuating they know what they are talking about and how sophisticated they are in their knowledge against god..

pseudo intellectuals.

You're delusional and misguided.
The Government HAS no money, the government spends taxpayer's money.

Christian taxpayer's money is what funds the government, because there's not enough atheist taxpayers to even pay Michelle's food bill.

No state bans Christians from political office.

If any state was insane enough to do so, they would end up with delusional and misguided atheists in office.

And nobody in their right minds wants that.

Wrong again...the air doesn't change due to the light. The light changes due to the air, so in essence, you are still seeing the light (in its changed state, not the air.

So you think that 20% of the population contribute nothing? Not to mention a good portion of them being well educated atheists.

Also, what does that majority have to do with how taxes are spent? Separation of church and state, hear of it? The government can not endorse one religion over another..

Nor is any brand of religion allowed to be enforced by the government.

You know johnny, Ecclesiastes was written before Jesus Christ, God The Son, came to Earth and revealed what he knew as one who walked between human Earth and those who sleep in death.
Jesus visited those who died before his Earthly ministry and freed the righteous.

The frequent New Testament affirmations that Jesus was "raised from the dead" presuppose that the crucified one sojourned in the realm of the dead prior to his resurrection.

This was the first meaning given in the apostolic preaching to Christ's descent into hell: that Jesus, like all men, experienced death and in his soul joined the others in the realm of the dead.
But he descended there as Savior, proclaiming the Good News to the spirits imprisoned there.
(Acts 3:15; Rom 8:11; 1 Cor 15:20; Heb 13:20 and 1Pet 3:18-19)

Scripture calls the abode of the dead, to which the dead Christ went down, "hell"¬óSheol in Hebrew or Hades in Greek¬óbecause those who are there are deprived of the vision of God.

Such is the case for all the dead, whether evil or righteous, while they await the redeemer: which does not mean that their lot is identical, as Jesus shows through the parable of the poor man Lazarus who was received into "Abraham's bosom":
"It is precisely these holy souls, who awaited their Savior in Abraham's bosom, whom Christ the Lord delivered when he descended into hell."

Jesus did not descend into hell to deliver the damned, nor to destroy the hell of damnation, but to free the just who had gone before him.
(Phil 2:10; Acts 2:24; Rev 1:18; Eph 4:9; Pss 6:6; 88:11-13; Ps 89:49; 1 Sam 28:19; Ezek 32:17-32; Lk 16:22-26)

"The gospel was preached even to the dead."
The descent into hell brings the Gospel message of salvation to complete fulfillment.

This is the last phase of Jesus' messianic mission, a phase which is condensed in time but vast in its real significance: the spread of Christ's redemptive work to all men of all times and all places, for all who are saved have been made sharers in the redemption.
(1 Pet 4:6)
