While my first spiritual experience in Heaven was terrifying, it was only because I was way to young to know what was happening. I had no idea what a soul, Heaven, death, judgment, or God was. But everything was explained to me as soon as the thoughts questioning what this or that was, came to me. Which made it a little easier. But at NO time then, or in any of my spiritual experiences in Heaven/God, did God even remotely try to invoke fear in me. He has always guided/given me answers in a clear and concise manner with complete respect and NO anger, wrath, etc.
BUT I have studied some evil deities and THEY are egotistical, vengeful, wrathful, sick, evil, etc. Who use FEAR to intimidate weak souls to believe their "secret" teachings worship them. They are obsessed with controlling souls to worshiping them. They correspond to everything the Christian "god" represents.
Which is why I resent everything in the book of lies, and these fundies running around trying to force their lies about God upon everybody.
Thank you for your response.......I know that what I feel with regards to my spiritual connection with God is right for me and I know that it was one of the reasons I left formalized religion.

Peace:-)

<quoted text>Exactly. Find that in the Bible. But then, he also believes in Reincarnation which totally opposes the Bible. Needless to say, you'll find most anything here, and many claim it is their way or the hiway. I claim Christ for my road to Eternal Life. I will tell no one else what they *MUST* claim.

Nice to meet you. I'm sorry if we got off on the wrong foot. I've read a bit about your history and family that you posted here and there. It's all good.

Blessings & Peace out ;;;;
Did we? Lol, I must've forgotten, I'm sorry too if I offended you, I sometimes lose my cool and tend to become, erm, difficult to random people, lol, then I calm down and sometimes forget. I really like your posts. I know, it's like "I say so and that's proof enough" in here! I'm getting used to it and I've learnt some ppl are not worth talking to seriously at all. I have nothing against ppl believing in karma but did find it odd put in the same sentence as Bible...o_O

I am just appalled by these inbred WV fundie trolls.
They have to belong to some evil cult or something. I just find it hard to believe that so many people could independently be so twisted, sick minded, hateful, and evil as they are.
And consistently so. There's no break in it.

Really? Well, I think the "person" has stated they were American Lutheran for 45 years and the sought the studies of Buddhism. I did not find that statement "odd" at all.

Good for you! Such a nice, cute little royal kitty you are. You're very observant and intelligent also. Of course it's not odd, what could I be thinking? The Bible talks about karma as many as zero times. Silly me. I sincerely apologise for entering your kingdom and daring to possibly have offended your glorious eyes, by expressing my worthless thoughts to someone else, beloved Majesty.

Karma?

Karma, answering (paying) for ones actions and deeds. Every word we shall answer for , ALL things have to be forgiven or paid for. Karma, that which will come back to be answered for. JESUS paid Karma. HE paid for the sins against mankind. with the ULTIMATE SACRAFICE. So paying for things is an accepted way of doing things in the NEXT WORLD.

I know what karma is and did not intend to offend you, if I did then I apologise. The reason I found it odd is that it is not mentioned in the Bible that way, in the post I responded to. The way you've explained it now is spot on. I asked you in order to understand.

To get a new beginning here in 2013 the first thing you should know is ("are you save in truth")? Pastor L.D.Gillman said on TV one time anyone can say they are save. But to find out if a person is save is to see if there lifestyle line up with the word of God!! Praise God for Pastor's like L.D.Gillman.
Many people are looking for "steps to salvation." People like the idea of an instruction manual with five steps that, if followed, will result in salvation. An example of this is Islam with its Five Pillars. According to Islam, if the Five Pillars are obeyed, salvation will be granted. Because the idea of a step-by-step process to salvation is appealing, many in the Christian community make the mistake of presenting salvation as a result of a step-by-step process. Roman Catholicism has seven sacraments. Various Christian denominations add baptism, public confession, turning from sin, speaking in tongues, etc., as steps to salvation. But the Bible only presents one step to salvation. When the Philippian jailer ask Paul, What must I do to be saved?" Paul responded, "Believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved" (Acts 16:30-31)...

No, we were talking about TRYING, not you, and he "claims" to be a Christian but believes in reincarnation which opposes the Bible he claims to believe in. That is the post we both responded to. He said John the Baptist being beheaded was "Karma" in the Bible. Complete false doctrine.

Good morning, preacherman.

That sounds straightforward enough. After all, if you're goofy enough to believe Noah's Flood really happened you're goofy enough to believe anything. I'm wondering though, how do smart people come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ?

God bless you.

I disagree, but then I believe in the Bible as it is written, not the way I want it to be. Jesus did no such thing as "karma". It is NOT in the Bible so you shouldn't add it or change it. That is false doctrine and to be accursed. No wonder 'religion' is so screwed up and false and of the Prince of this world. Are you sure you aren't a closet Buddhist? With the reincarnation and all.

Some here don't believe in any of the Bible. Some believe the stories in the OT never happened. Some believe it was a localized flood.

I believe what the Bible states, that it was a world-wide flood. If the Bible is not my guide I have no guide but man. And no man can offer me anything past this life.

When the Bible refers to a worldwide Flood in Genesis 7–8, that’s exactly what it means. Not local, not metaphorical, not some crazy dream—the waters covered the whole earth. Don’t just take our word for it, though. Take a look at the evidence right beneath your feet.

http://www.answersingenesis.org/get-answers/f...

The Bible’s history is reliable throughout—from the creation of man from the dust of the ground to the worldwide Flood to the coming of Jesus Christ. But just reading the evidence isn’t enough. The message of salvation founded in the Bible's history is also true, and, God wants us to accept the gift of salvation He freely offers us.

The evidence is real. God has revealed Himself to us in His Word and in His creation (Romans 1:20).

Peace out ;;;;
