RE: excuses to keep sinning
There are many belief systems all over this planet, and anyone can invent any more.
..... Apparent;y some, or even many, people believe that after they have paid some money to a priest and done some misdeeds, that all they then need to do is to go to a priest, confess, and say some slogan"prayers" and everything, yes, everything, will then be forgiven quite automatically.
..... Oh yes, there is one remaining potential sin, to having got found out by the secular authority's justice system.

whrn the stinking thinking starts and believe when some think they can get away with it
when their love of self is more important then love of GOD
then when some get busted, they try to justify their actions with this excuses
sin would never start, if one is honorable, has integrity, respect for oneself and for others
GODS standards
even we have committed sins, we still have a chance to change (MATT 12:31) and be forgiven

You'll never meet a perfect Christian. I know I'm not perfect but thank goodness my Saviour Jesus is perfect! All my trust is in His sinless, atoning, redeeming, Holy blood. Glory to God!

1 John 1:7-10
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

You forgot their most favorite one:

10. My sock puppet "god" automatically forgives me, covered in blood, died for my sins, bla, bla, bla... so MY sins don't count.

SEE!

What did I tell you??!!

Theses poor fundies have been deceived into believing that their sock puppet "god" automatically forgives them, no matter what they do. Are they EVER in for a shock come their judgment. For the real God judges >>>ALL<<< souls on their thoughts and actions, NO EXCEPTIONS! There is NO free pass into Heaven. You have either attained the spiritual level required to pass judgment and enter, or you haven't and are rejected.

You're a liar. And an anti-Christ. And a New Age geek. And a Fly Boy. Astro Boy.

You can't prove any of your claims so all you can do is attack Christians. And fail miserably at it.

Sure gets you all riled really good though don't I?

But your avoidance really has nothing to do with my post. So here, try again:

And THAT is your favorite excuse to do evil things now isn't it?

sadly but true
only because some have been taught thru out the generations to believe that these MAN MADE RELIGIONS have more power to forgive then GOD
by buying forgiveness with money, pray to statues, pray to dead saints, nailing themselves to crosses for 20 mins, whip themselves, crawl up the walkways, or stairs, shave their hair off, stop speaking for 6 months, live in a cave for months, pierce their bodies,
in realty, all we had to do is simply go thru JESUS and ask to be forgiven, with a sincere heart and mind
THATS IT thats how simple it is

One I had never heard until coming to topix:

"A true born again Christian is not a sinner any more. Only the unsaved are sinners."

They stated that since accepting Christ,*nothing* they do is considered sin any longer.

Is it a sin to mangle the language so effectively...?

And you think that just saying a few nice words is all that YOU need do?

So typical of an American Xtian...always avoiding the hard spiritual work. Just recite some incantation and voila! I'm saved!

Oh how I long for the old days when Xtians might have dome something hard in the spiritual work. Now, its like microwavable food with you folks.

"I really mean it Jesus, I really do! That last time I didnt really mean it but this time I do!"

You folks are pathetic.

Its not only that but you will also be judged by your words. Matt 12:37.
Someone did a calculation on how many sins one commits in 50 years. If you sin 10 times a day everyday for 50 years you will have sinned 182,000 sins. That's quite a rap sheet don't you think?

Cleaning up your mind is a little bit more difficult than cleaning up your mouth but I don't think it's impossible. I'm working on it. Lots of catchy tunes going down at the mission church. I just try to keep them rolling around in my head.

If profanity is a sin, I know some people who can wrap up 182,000 sins in a day. The landlady's nephew once got through three words without the 'F' word so he backed up and started over.
