Why?

Because they profess to know Jesus Christ, but do not follow Him, nor abide by His teachings. Because they live in the world and do the things of the world, like partying, drinking, watching TV, following sports, and arguing over politics. They live in the world and do not preach the Gospel to others, which is what Jesus expects of those who profess to believe in Him. This begs the question as to whether they are ashamed of Jesus, and therefore are unwilling to boldly proclaim His name and publicly profess that He is the Son of God, and the only way to salvation and heaven. On top of these things, they do not have a prayer life or they do not give to the poor and needy, and they talk like those who live in the world, i.e., profanity, dirty jokes, foolish talking and gossip. And most so-called Christians practice sin on a daily basis, such as having premarital sex (fornication), committing adultery, getting drunk, and are consumed with the entertainment of the world, like gambling, movies, and TV. To these Christians, how many of you truly have time to devote to Jesus Christ? Do you really believe that you can say the sinner's prayer and from then on be saved? No way! The claim that all a person needs to do to be saved is proclaim belief in Jesus Christ is from Satan.

The truth is that none of us will know if we are saved until we stand before Jesus Christ. I know this will be a shock to most and you will immediately think that I am totally wrong, since Christians can know if they are saved. Actually, Christians can know if they are headed in the right direction by reading the New Testament ("NT") in order to understand what is expected and following Jesus Christ. To truly follow Jesus means to have true faith in Him as the only Savior, as the only Son of God, and that He is the eternal sacrifice, and that His blood cleanses you of sins, and that His resurrection means that you will also be resurrected. Again, read the NT in order to understand.

Reading the NT is a beginning point to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which you must have if you expect to inherit eternal life with Him in His Kingdom. A personal relationship is through faith, obedience, and prayer. If you believe that all you have to do is go to church once a week and that is all you need to do in order to have a personal relationship with Jesus, forget it. You are being misled.

Where is your faith?
Where is your prayer life?
Where is your obedience?

Are you relying on Jesus to literally live on a daily basis?
Do you routinely pray for wisdom and faith?

That's right! If you are lacking faith, then pray for faith. Devote yourself to prayer. Let your heavenly Father know what is troubling you--including that you lack faith--and ask that He give you more faith on a daily basis. Keep praying for faith. Never get tired of praying for faith and wisdom, and strength to resist temptation. Pray to your heavenly Father in Jesus' name. This is what it is like to have a personal relationship with Jesus. You will rely on Jesus on a daily basis and not neglect Him.

Don't forget to thank God for what you have, like a job, like a roof over your head, for the beautiful sunset, for the beautiful flowers that God allows you to see. Don't forget to praise God and thank Him for loving his creation so much that He sent Jesus. And also thank Jesus for shedding His blood for you and all who believe in Him. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and to strengthen you to resist temptation, to strengthen your faith, and to give you wisdom.

If you expect to be saved, then you MUST have a personal relationship with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. You must seek them daily. If you do, and you truly are faithful and obedient, and the fruit that you bear (meaning your good works) testify that you truly are a follower of Jesus Christ, then you will be allowed to walk down the narrow path and enter into the Kingdom of God.

You know Jesus liked to fish and he drank wine....The Pharisees called him a drunkard.

Jesus had no job and no address while wandering around the countryside with other unemployed men that liked to go fishing.

Do you condemn our Lord as well?
"For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you."
