I have no doubt Reagan issued amnesty for some illegals. That post was in response to one of your far left cronies who was trying to get a jab in on Romney.

.
I find it convenient you do not know who Bill Burton is. Burton was a very visible Obama staffer who was often on the Sunday news circuit for Obama. Burton left last year and started the super pack Priority USA that's the outfit that ran the ad accusing Romney of murder.

This morning Debbie Wassermann Schultz told a news commentator that she didn't know what party Bill Burton was affiliated with.

She has been on television with him who knows how many times, she knows him very well.

This woman is unbelievable! She went on national television and with a straight face lied through her teeth! She had the audacity to tell millions of people she didn't know what party Burton was promoting.

But that's the way of democrats, lie if it serves your purpose and if you get caught lie some more.
When that doesn't work get another democrat to lie for you.

No, I am not a politician.
No, I do not know who Bill Burton is.

McCain: Adelson funding Romney Super PAC with 'foreign money'
Posted By Josh Rogin Friday, June 15, 2012 - 9:56 AM

Senator and Romney presidential campaign surrogate John McCain (R-AZ) said Thursday that casino magnate Sheldon Adelson is indirectly injecting millions of dollars in Chinese "foreign money" into Mitt Romney's presidential election effort.

"Much of Mr. Adelson's casino profits that go to him come from his casino in Macau, which says that obviously, maybe in a roundabout way foreign money is coming into an American political campaign," McCain said in an interview on PBS's News Hour.

"That is a great deal of money, and we need a level playing field and we need to go back to the realization... that we have to have a limit on the flow of money and corporations are not people," he said.

Adelson announced Thursday he would be giving $10 million to the pro-Romney Super PAC Restore Our Future, and reports stated his future contributions to pro-Romney groups could be "limitless."

The issue of foreign money finding its way into presidential politics comes up each cycle. In 1996, the Clinton administration was engulfed in a huge Chinese political funding controversy known at the time as "Chinagate," whereby agents of China funded Democratic political organizations. 22 were convicted of felonies and many were associates of Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

Romney has also come under criticism for his former corporation Bain Capital's business ties to Chinese state-owned firms, some of which are linked to the Chinese military and simultaneously seek to acquire U.S. technology firms.

But McCain's comments appear to be the first criticism by a Republican of a Republican donor for earning his fortune in China and then spending some of that money on a Republican political organization.

Mitt Romney's Pork Barrel Olympics
The GOP candidate pried $1.5 billion out of the federal government to bankroll his Olympic turnaround. Millions went to questionable projects that benefitted well-connected Utahns.

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is in London for the opening ceremonies of the 2012 summer games—part of a three-country world tour designed to build his foreign policy resume and shake down overseas donors. The Romney campaign will run television ads during the games touting the candidate's experience as CEO of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, where he was widely credited with turning around the scandal-plagued organizing effort.

What Romney doesn't talk about is how he succeeded in Utah with government help—lots of it—and how millions in assistance that he pried out of the feds ended up bankrolling subsidies, sweetheart deals, and giveaways for land developers and other well-connected Utahns.

As Romney chastises the president for pointing out that successful business ventures benefit from a larger social compact and accuses critics of pining for "free stuff," Romney is simultaneously touting an Olympic effort that, more than any other in American history, succeeded thanks to public investment—some of it sunk into questionable projects of marginal value to the Salt Lake games. "The $1.5 billion in taxpayer dollars that Congress is pouring into Utah is 1.5 times the amount spent by lawmakers to support all seven Olympic Games held in the U.S. since 1904—combined," Donald Barlett and James Steele reported for Sports Illustrated in 2001. Those numbers were adjusted for inflation.

Romney been around a long time so wheres the dirt?
The Boston Herald has revealed similar flops made by Romney during his time as the governor of Massachusetts.

While running the state Romney threw $1.5 million behind Konarka, a firm that filed for bankruptcy only a short time later. Romney then gave $2.5 million to Evergreen Solar which also filed for bankruptcy in 2011. If that wasn’t enough Mitt Romney also poured $2.5 million in taxpayer dollars into biotech firm Spherics Inc. which closed its doors three years later.

Mitt Romney Started Bain Capital With Money From Families Tied To Death Squads

In 1983, Bill Bain asked Mitt Romney to launch Bain Capital, a private equity offshoot of the successful consulting firm Bain & Company. After some initial reluctance, Romney agreed. The new job came with a stipulation: Romney couldn't raise money from any current clients, Bain said, because if the private equity venture failed, he didn't want it taking the consulting firm down with it.

When Romney struggled to raise funds from other traditional sources, he and his partners started thinking outside the box. Bain executive Harry Strachan suggested that Romney meet with a group of Central American oligarchs who were looking for new investment vehicles as turmoil engulfed their region.

Romney was worried that the oligarchs might be tied to "illegal drug money, right-wing death squads, or left-wing terrorism," Strachan later told a Boston Globe reporter, as quoted in the 2012 book "The Real Romney." But, pressed for capital, Romney pushed his concerns aside and flew to Miami in mid-1984 to meet with the Salvadorans at a local bank.

It was a lucrative trip. The Central Americans provided roughly $9 million -- 40 percent -- of Bain Capital's initial outside funding, the Los Angeles Times reported recently. And they became valued clients.

"Over the years, these Latin American friends have loyally rolled over investments in succeeding funds, actively participated in Bain Capital's May investor meetings, and are still today one of the largest investor groups in Bain Capital," Strachan wrote in his memoir in 2008. Strachan declined to be interviewed for this story.

When Romney launched another venture that needed funding -- his first presidential campaign -- he returned to Miami.

"I owe a great deal to Americans of Latin American descent," he said at a dinner in Miami in 2007. "When I was starting my business, I came to Miami to find partners that would believe in me and that would finance my enterprise. My partners were Ricardo Poma, Miguel Dueńas, Pancho Soler, Frank Kardonski, and Diego Ribadeneira."

Romney could also have thanked investors from two other wealthy and powerful Central American clans -- the de Sola and Salaverria families, who the Los Angeles Times and Boston Globe have reported were founding investors in Bain Capital.

While they were on the lookout for investments in the United States, members of some of these prominent families -- including the Salaverria, Poma, de Sola and Dueńas clans -- were also at the time financing, either directly or through political parties, death squads in El Salvador. The ruling classes were deploying the death squads to beat back left-wing guerrillas and reformers during El Salvador's civil war.

The death squads committed atrocities on such a mass scale for so small a country that their killing spree sparked international condemnation. From 1979 to 1992, some 75,000 people were killed in the Salvadoran civil war, according to the United Nations. In 1982, two years before Romney began raising money from the oligarchs, El Salvador's independent Human Rights Commission reported that, of the 35,000 civilians killed, "most" died at the hands of death squads. A United Nations truth commission concluded in 1993 that 85 percent of the acts of violence were perpetrated by the right, while the left-wing Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, which was supported by the Cuban government, was responsible for 5 percent.

When The Huffington Post asked the Romney campaign about Bain Capital accepting funds from families tied to death squads, a spokeswoman forwarded a 1999 Salt Lake Tribune article to explain the campaign's position on the matter. She declined to comment further.

Ten of Romney’s foreign policy failures

July 24, 2012

Two hundred and ninety-one days after his last foreign policy speech, Mitt Romney stood up once more to deliver a major foreign policy plan and—once again—failed to offer any new or even credible policy ideas.

Romney has long displayed a significant lack of knowledge and experience over the years when it comes to foreign policy. But the commander-in-chief only has one chance to make the right decision. Here’s a look at ten times Romney and his campaign got it wrong:

1. Romney “has been especially vague about how many U.S. forces he would keep in Afghanistan” and has no detailed plan for our engagement in the country.

2. Romney’s campaign said “real Americans” don’t care what Romney’s Afghanistan policy is.

3. Before Osama bin Laden’s death, Romney said he wouldn’t go into Pakistan if we had bin Laden in our sights and that it was “not worth moving heaven and earth” to find bin Laden.

4. Romney pledged “to do the opposite” of what President Obama has done for Israel, which includes record-level security funding.

5. Romney called Russia, a strategic partner of the United States on vital issues, America’s “number one geopolitical foe.”

6. When asked how he’d approach going to war with Iran, Romney has said he’d defer to his lawyers:“You sit down with your attorneys” so they can “tell you what you have to do.”

7. Romney has said that bringing all our troops home from Iraq was “tragic” and that it was a “naked political calculation.”

8. Romney “fled down a hallway and escaped up an escalator” to avoid answering a reporter about his position on the NATO mission in Libya.

9. Romney called the fading power of Venezuela’s leader Hugo Chavez a serious threat to our national security.

10. Romney’s campaign said President Obama was not doing enough to protect Czechoslovakia—a country that no longer exists—from “the Soviets.”

Romney, Obama mine funds overseas
Expatriates pose ever-larger source
By Matt Viser
Globe Staff / July 17, 2012

WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney and President Obama are stepping up efforts to get campaign donations from half a world away, a new twist in a rapidly shifting and intensely competitive campaign finance environment.

Romney has reportedly sent two of his sons to Hong Kong to raise money, and is planning another round of fund-raising in London while he is there for the Olympics. Obama’s surrogates held a fund-raiser at a Shanghai hotel last Wednesday and next month will dispatch actor George Clooney to Geneva to collect donations.

“As campaign fund-raising has become more intense and candidates seek dollars wherever they can find them, conducting fund-raisers overseas has become part of the presidential fund-raising package,” said Anthony Corrado, a professor and campaign finance expert at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

“We’re going to see more fund-raising done overseas this time than we ever have in the past,” he added.

At this point, Obama has a sizable edge over the former Massachusetts governor in attracting donations from abroad, but Romney is planning several high-dollar fund-raisers while abroad later this month.

A variety of factors are driving the bid for overseas donations. With businesses growing in international hubs like London and Hong Kong, there are more potential donors living abroad.

But the primary force is that with candidates backing out of the public financing system — which puts limits on the amount they can raise in exchange for government funding — there is an insatiable appetite for raising money, no matter where it comes from.

Ben LaBolt, a top spokesman for the Obama campaign, did a teleconference with American students studying in Cairo several weeks ago. The recommended donation was $50 per person.

The Obama campaign’s recent fund-raiser in Shanghai was at a hotel bar that claims to have a “sexy and sophisticated rooftop champagne lounge.” On Thursday night there was a fund-raiser in Paris, where attendees paid $750 to meet with featured guest Richard Danzig, former Navy secretary and a member of Obama’s Intelligence Advisory Board.

Obama himself has not held any fund-raisers abroad, instead relying on top surrogates or advisers.

Romney, though, has been far more active in seeking overseas cash. He traveled to London last year during the primary campaign, at a time when many of his Republican rivals were organizing for the Iowa Straw Poll.

Romney’s return to London this month comes on the eve of the Olympic Games. He is planning two separate fund-raising events hosted by a variety of banking industry officials.

The events involve a reception — at a cost of $2,500 per person — and a high-dollar “private dinner with Governor Mitt Romney” that will cost from $25,000 to $75,000 per person. Both events will be held at a location in central London that has not yet been named, according to copies of the invitations obtained by the Globe.

Romney also planned to raise money while he is in Jerusalem for a two-day trip following the Olympics. But the $50,000-per-person fund-raiser, scheduled for July 29, appears to have been scrapped because it is Tisha B’Av, a Jewish day of mourning and fasting. According to a tweet by Natasha Mozgovaya, a reporter for the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, the campaign was not holding the fund-raiser on that day and was “aware of the sensitivity of that date.”

Adelson is an American where is made his money is of no consequence, like your article(which has no links) says that appears to be standard practice for both democrats and republicans.

It is also a process of financing Barack Obama is knee deep in. The difference with Barack Obama is we are getting these radical Pro-Homosexual agendas pushed down our throat.

I have not research this but by using your own figures Romney used 1.5 billion dollars and SUCCESSFULLY turned around the Olympics.

Obama took $500,000,000 and sent it down the rabbit hole with Solendra.

Obama has spent more money than all of the other presidents put together, trillions of dollars and what have we got? An 8.3 unemployment rate.

There's a hard choice.

You are a perfect example of a lying Obama mouth piece,.
Solendra lost $500,000,000 of taxpayer money, if Obama had not restructured the bankruptcy the tax payers loss would have been only about $50,000,000 that was according to Obama's boy Tim, the treasury secretary!

Romney only signed off on $1.5 million dollars in 2006 and those were funds designated for such research, now tell the rest of the story, the part where the democrats came back in:

As of 2006, Konarka had received $60 million in funding from venture capital firms including 3i, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, New Enterprise Associates, Good Energies and Chevron Technology Ventures.[3] Konarka also received nearly $10 million in combined grants from the Pentagon and European governments, and in 2007 was approved for further funding through the Solar America Initiative, a component of the White House's Advanced Energy Initiative.[4] The company raised a further $45 million in private capital financing in October 2007 in a financing round led by Mackenzie Financial Corporation.[5]

The company also received $1.5 million from a state of Massachusetts alternative energy trust fund in 2003 during Governor Mitt Romney's term

and another $5 million during Governor Deval Patrick's term. At the time of its bankruptcy filing in 2012, its funding history was summarized: "Konarka raised more than $170 million in private capital investments and $20 million in government grants, according to its website.

Under the Bush administration, Konarka received a $1.6 million Army contract in 2005 and a $3.6 million award from the Department of Energy in 2007. Under the Obama administration, Konarka was one of 183 clean-energy companies that got a total of $2.3 billion in tax credits as part of the 2009 stimulus."[6]

.

You did see where it said " Under the Obama administration, Konarka was one of 183 clean-energy companies that got a total of $2.3 billion in tax credits as part of the 2009 stimulus."[6]

Didn't Obama just give away our only leverage against Russia, the missile defense shield? Wasn't he caught on tape saying he would cut a deal AFTER THE ELECTION?

After the election means so the voters can't hold me responsible doesn't it?

Gay Clubs in your school

WALTHAM, Massachusetts September 6, 2011, Back in the early 1990’s most people in North America would have doubted there would ever come a day when the homosexual agenda would be accepted with open arms in elementary and high schools.
Today however, that agenda is firmly implanted in public schools and is quickly making its way into Catholic schools, thanks to a well-planned strategy laid out by radical gay activists.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered (GLBT) activists in Massachusetts sought to indoctrinate school children with homosexual values. GLBT activist Kevin Jennings, who was later appointed by President Obama as the assistant deputy secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools inside the Department of Education, masterminded the scheme of gay anti-bullying programs as a perfect inroad into the otherwise resistant classrooms of the nation.

“If the Radical Right can succeed in portraying us as preying on children, we will lose,” warned Jennings in a speech to fellow GLBT activists outlining his strategy.“Their language–‘promoting homosexuality’–is laced with subtle and not-so-subtle innuendo that we are ‘after their kids.’”

Jennings argued that the key to success lay in “framing” the issue in another way, to the advantage of the GLBT cause.

The strategy consists in linking the GLBT cause to “universal values” that everyone in the community has in common, such as “safety.” One then builds on this universal value the idea that “homophobia” represents a “threat” to students’ safety since it creates a “climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common.” From this point, one simply promotes legislation and programs for schools that frames the GLBT agenda in the language of these universal values.

“This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedalling from day one,” boasted Jennings.“[N]o one could speak up against our frame and say,‘Why, yes, I do think students should kill themselves:’ This allowed us to set the terms for debate.”

Jennings realized that this strategy would effectively throw any opposition into a defensive mode and steal their best line of attack. If anyone objected to the homosexual and transgender indoctrination that the activists planned to push in the schools, they would be accused of heartless disregard for students.

Despite the fact that it has been executed time and time again for almost two decades the methods and talking points have hardly changed at all. A recent policy to address “homophobic harassment and bullying, and homophobia and heterosexism” approved by the Board of Education in Burnaby, BC followed Jennings’ strategy precisely, right down to the language of “safety.”

Policy # 5.45 states that to “ensure that all members of the school community work together in an atmosphere of respect and safety regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, the Board of Education will adopt appropriate administrative regulations and strategies that promote respect for human rights, support diversity, and address discrimination.”

The final goal of the campaign, according to Jennings, is that one day when,“straight people” hear that someone is “promoting homosexuality,” he would say “‘Yeah, who cares?’ because they wouldn’t necessarily equate homosexuality with something bad that you would not want to promote.”

While much of the past 15 years has left the goals of the gay ant-bullying scheme carefully unspoken, a recent article in an online homosexual publication let the cat out of the bag.

“We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it. Recruiting children? You bet we are,” he added.

Obama School Appointee Admired Ardent Promoter of Child Molestation

WASHINGTON, DC, sEPTEMBER 11, 2011 - Kevin Jennings, the Obama administration's "safe schools czar," is a professed admirer of Harry Hay, radical homosexual rights activist and ardent promoter of pedophilia.

In remarks given at the Grace Church School in New York City, Kevin Jennings said that one "of the people that's always inspired me is Harry Hay, who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America."

He continued: "Everybody thought Harry Hay was crazy in 1948, and they knew something about him which he apparently did not-they were right, he was crazy. You are all crazy. We are all crazy. All of us who are thinking this way are crazy, because you know what? Sane people keep the world the same [sh*tty] old way it is now."

The reasons people thought Harry Hay to be crazy may be gleaned from some of Harry Hay's remarks at events associated with or run by NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Love Association. The professed end of NAMBLA is, according to their website, "to end the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships." They oppose age-of-consent laws so that pedophilia would become accepted and legal.

In his remarks at New York University, Harry Hay accounts his statutory rape, at fourteen years of age, by a homosexual man twenty-five years old. He thanks this man for the experience, saying that the boy he was at fourteen "needed to know best of all what only another gay man could show him and tell him."
