Was Jesus a Pisshead?
Scriptural evidence indicates that,
Yep!- INDEED!- You Betcha!- Jesus was a pisshead and he admitted it!
Here for instance, we read this little scriptural gem, at Luke 7:33:
Jesus confirming, "For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man (Jesus) is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!" (KJV)
That scriptural rumor, which is confirmed by the 2nd necessary witness required to back Luke up (non other than the Apostle Matthew 11:19) is pumped-up by the more believable rumors that Jesus would get stumblin'- down-drunk and join in at wild parties singin', "For he's a jolly good fellow",... and (of course) his favorite bibber tune, "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall", "Red, Red, Wine" ... etc.!
AND, it's rumored that he was at the drinking orgy singin' along with the Student Prince: "DRINK, DRINK, DRINK, etc."!(As a matter of fact, that wasn't Mario Lanza's voice-over in the movie, that tenor was (guess)... Jesus, himself!" But the church denies it flat!
And it wasn't Johnny Cash singing, "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down", either... Yup! You guessed it. It was Pisshead Jesus!
Hardie-Har-Har!
If imagining the Lord as being much like yourself, ie. often sloshed silly,... makes you more comfortable contemplating initially approaching Him, I'm sure He won't mind

Yes, CK, the TRUTH does have a way of shining forth, when we read the scriptures the right way, as this expose of the drunkard and gluttonous Real Jesus demonstrates (and from his own admission,... ehh!!).
Hardie-Har-Har!
Um, His critics sated that. Jesus never admitted He was a drunkard and glutton. Read it with an open mind.

Nay, Nay, Mr. HICS,...
'Twas Jesus hisself who admits he was a "winebibber", in his own words.
YOU NEED TO ... "Read it with an open mind."
Luke 7:33:
Jesus confirming, "For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man (Jesus) is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!" (KJV)
Jesus it was who contrasted himself to Johnny Boy. Jesus said that Johnny Boy never drank wine. In 180-degree contrast Jesus admits that he is a wine drinker, a "winebibber!", in fact, according to his ctitics.
Sh*t, Jesus had to stay drunk to claim the crap he claimed and deal with the smelly ghetto crowd that he was forced by poverty to dwell among; and, to hang around with the 12-dwarfs, who got him free handouts and wineskins of booze to feed his sotty drinking habit and feed his ego.
Jesus got so crazy drunk that he actually believed he was god and went into the temple to physically cleanse it by means of violence. Well, that criminal act of violent B&E, breaking of the laws of Rome and King Herod, got his drunken god-assumed ass beaten and stuck up on the stick.
Note too, that Jesus violated Paul's orders in Romans 13 to obey the authorities and their laws. Peter also ordered the same obedience.
Jesus showed some leadership in that regard, ehh! He showed his true nature when it finally erupted in the temple. He was a "ZEALOT" at heart.
"Red, Red Wine,... Goes to Your Head!,... as the song says.
Hardie-Har-Har!
Not sharing vision. Ye are deluded. How great the mercy of God truly is toward you, my friend.
