The book of Revelation is the only book in the
new testament part of the bible....
that the author was instructed
by the Lord to write.

So...

Why did all those do as they were never instructed,
and write the rest of what is in the new
testament part of the bible.

Something to ponder.

Revelations has a lot of Greek mythological influence in it. The multi headed beast is actually the Greek hydra and the angels on flying horses comes from Pegasus. John, living on Patmos the Greek island, borrowed from Greek mythology.

THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE

TORMENTED

FOREVER

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

the philosopher, Celsus, wrote of the church leaders in the third century:
“You utter fables, and you do not even possess the art of making them seem likely… You have altered three, four times and oftener, the texts of your own Gospels in order to deny objections to you.”

Celsus can't save you from Hell.

Seems more a set-up, as how is it possible that anyone from Texas is really asking a question...;-)

Luke 1:5 - the gospel account is what disciples of Jesus studied to know true doctrine and the fullness of the grace and truth of God.

Mt. 28 - Jesus commanded disciples to be instructed to keep all that He had first commanded/instructed the original twelve.

Jn. 14-17 - Jesus prayed the twelve have Holy Spirit recall of all He had taught them. Not divine revelation of new things, but recall of what they heard from Him. Note all the gospels do not agree in all things. This is why we are to first hear Matthew and John - they were of the original twelve.

The Jerusalem Church, about 65 AD, said that the Hebrew Matthew was the only book they considered to be Scripture - not Luke or Mark or any writing of Paul. Thus John and Revelation came after that date, and we know from Luke's historical account that Pauls writings were largely before this date... but rejected by disciples who were true to what the Master Teacher taught.

About half of what we call the 'New Testament" should be rejected and not used for doctrine in any way - Paul's books are self contradictory and self condemned. Such as 'who gave the law to Moses? Everyone in the Bible but Paul and Steven says God did - they disagree and say angles did.

If Isaiah is true, he said: "If they speak not according to the Law and the Testimony, there is no light in them."

Paul was an obvious and patent liar - but tricky enough that many still believe his perversions. Only coming to abide in the original teachings of Jesus can set them free from the prison house of Paul.
