Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.

The homosexual community has two ways of promoting their personal choices of being homosexual through the religious forum. First, some will claim the Bible actually promotes and condones homosexuality. Second, others try to get the Bible banned from public use by categorizing it as hate literature.

Thanks for the support Craig. I am sick of the media trying to force us to accept homosexuality. The bible clearly states that homosexuality is a one way ticket to hell.

Where in scripture does it instruct us to highlight one particular sin?

Where in scripture does it tell us to point the finger at a non believer over a specific aspects of their lives?

We are told to preach the gospel. i.e. the good news

That is that whilst "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" and that the "wages of sin is death" there is a redeemer who died for us all and is willing to forgive our sins if we confess them and that the "gift of God is eternal life".

Once a person is drawn to God and accepts Jesus as saviour then the holy spirit will convict them of the areas in their lives that are wrong.

It is not our job to point out everything that we feel is wrong in a persons life and tell then how evil they are.
It is our job to love our neighbours as ourselves.

With all these anti-gay threads bombarded into the christian forum, it seems fundamentalists aren't so focused on worshiping Christ as they are hating homosexuals.
