1. How can anyone believe that it is the will of God, for women to dress and look anyway other than according to the standards set here in the written word of God?

Deuteronomy, Chapter 22
5: The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

1 Timothy, Chapter 2
9: In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10: But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1 Corinthians, Chapter 11
6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

1 Corinthians, Chapter 11
7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

PAUL WROTE THAT IN HIS LETTER TO THE CORINTHIAN CHURCH! WHY DIDN'T HE MENTION IT IN HIS LETTERS TO OTHER CHURCHES?

The Apostle Paul was addressing something in the Corinthian culture that was being allowed to disrupt the church. Women in service in the pagan temples there had their heads shaved. It marked them as pagan temple prostitutes.

Paul says in this passage that a woman who is shorn or shaved should be covered (1 Corinthians 11:6), for a woman shorn or shaved of her hair had lost her "glory," and she was not under the protection of a husband. A shorn head without a covering was equivalent there to saying, "I refuse to submit to God's order." Therefore, the Apostle Paul is teaching the Corinthians that hair length or the wearing of a "covering" by the woman was an outward indication of a heart attitude of submission to God and to His established authority.

This was important because the Corinthian church was to be separate from the corrupt pagan culture of Corinth (2 Corinthians 6:17).

Most churches today do not preach a dress code for women, I guess most churches today do not have a problem with the way women dress for church.
Most women would wear dresses for church, it was "lady like" as they used to say. The amish and the mennonites are about the only religions that will only accept women in dresses. The women want equality, but are they pushing it too far wearing pants for church and cutting their hair almost as short as men?
Where is the difference between men and women today? The men have long hair and wear it in a pony tail like the girls do.
I think the women were the first to cross dress LOL and I guess men thought if it's ok for women to wear pants they will wear dresses etc. LOL
Well it seems that way not.
We all are too familiar with what the Bible says about dress for men and women so I won't dive there.
btw what does it say, "judge in yourselves"

We will start with bikini's. How could a Christian women ever wear one of these wicked things and not feel guilty? How could a Christian man ever allow his daughter or wife ever even own this wickedness much less wear it?

Are you a muzzie? Middle eastern men used to wear gowns in the dessert.

Roman men used to wear skirts and togas. Scotts wore skirts.

It all depends on the culture.

Modesty in dress does not mean wear a burkah which is quite disgusting...men are not allowed to "acclimate" to a woman's body, and start raping as soon as they get a peek. Egypt and India with sizable muzzie populations is a case in point.

I shouldn't answer your question of folly but I will in this case.
God's commandments do not come with "what ifs"
if that were the case God would be bending the rules for everyone. God does not compromise!
