You must love your neighbor as yourself.

What does that mean to you? Does it apply to topix?

Who is your neighbor?

Does Christ give a free reign of behavior on topix?

Romans 13:8-10

Love Your Neighbor

8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments,“You shall not commit adultery,”“You shall not murder,”“You shall not steal,”“You shall not bear false witness,”[a]“You shall not covet,”[b] and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely,“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”[c] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

How do we love one another? Do on to others as you would want them to do onto you is the way i see it.

I wouldnt want anyone to lie, steal, cheat, kill, or rob me and i would like someone to help in a time of need or emergency...so i wouldnt do any of that to them and would try to help someone in a time of need.

“so tell me......”

My neighbour is the person who I encounter in my day to day life. If they are in need of help then I should do what I can to offer that help. The Good Samaritan story is very apt for explaining this.

As for our behaviour on Topix, I think it should be the same as our off line behaviours.
Good manners go a long way and cost nothing. If someone has a differing opinion to me that does not give me the right to be rude to them.

But it says "as your neighbour", not "and your neighbour".

It simply means that you 'IN PRICIPLE' must love your neighbour, as many people already do, but most do NOT.

If you can love your neighbour like you love children, makes a good example.

It is not possible to love everyone of your neighbours, for thus is mankind not put together; but as long as you generally love your neighbour and try to, if you do not, this as part of your repentance, you are on the right track.

- Killing: the authorized (by God) putting to death of a creature
- Judging: In Christianity, the prohibited 'judging' is to execute a penalty upon another as retribution for their sins.
