Introducing The Universal Religion

Well jokes aside, if we will try to see the discussions on here and religious faith in general at some distance and perspective, then there is one thing that we can observe as a general tendency.

It is all so very personal, my belief, my opinions, my afterlife, my pride and honour, my personal God, my religious group and so on.

Why being so self-concerned; is this according to the Christian teachings and morals?

Let us say that the hammer represents the raw physical force, the ultimate reality, and the nail the weaker but sharp part that will hide itself deep in the soft wood.
Something or someone has to give at the end.
Causa y efecto!
That reminds me of a Japanese proverb;
"The nail that rises above will be hammered down."

Or,....as any good framing carpenter will tell you,....."Kill The Nail!"

Remember, we are all dealing with imperfect humans, some more so than others.
But of course, that's 'them' and not 'us'........lol

As an aside; the God of Abraham is not anybody's "personal" God, although we can, and many do, enjoy a personal relationship with God.

Though it might be troubling how people can be very self-concerned and even tribal about their personal life and beliefs, but it is understandable
Refer to my above post regarding God being patient as mankind stumbles along the evolutionary path.

Life is about the art of balancing at the edge of chaos; if we fall then it is destructive, if we manage to stay in balance, then it is good.
It is the balance between Heaven and Hell if that is the terms of your choice.

The weak 'god'? Possibly. But the true God is unworshipable.

It's doubtful if heaven and especially hell exist.

These two exist only as symbolic expressions for our emotions.

It describes the emotional differences between being alive and happy under the blue sky and staying under the ground like in a dark grave.

Over the ages and an endless number of creative thinking have brought up a jungle of ideas about “heaven” and “hell”.

It has become more a reward or punishing system in the hands of religious thinkers and leaders and completely out of context.

Why do you think the true God rejects your worship?
Are you in need of repenting? Don't be ashamed,.....we are all in need.

God The Almighty Creator accepts my meager worship,
The Good Shepherd Jesus Christ called to me and said it is good..
Come to Jesus, He came to gather you into His sheepfold.

If God is truly perfect, It must be absolutely self-sufficient, not needing anything from man.

God doesn't "need" anything.

God, who “dwells in unapproachable light,” wants to communicate his own divine life to the men he freely created, in order to adopt them as his sons in his only-begotten Son.
(1 Tim 6:16; cf. Eph 1:4-5.)

By revealing himself God wishes to make mankind capable of responding to him, and of knowing him, and of loving him far beyond their own natural capacity.

Yes, between a reasonable man and a credulous fool.

What is your status so far for this “universal religion” project?
Did you locate the tail of this exotic creature?
If so, then maybe we could start pulling it out from its hiding place.
Anyway, we had better to be sure that it is not something we cannot handle!
