Calm down, dear.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven - Luke 6:37

If your god is good, I'll be just fine.

You condemn yourself. And no you won't. That's a lie Satan is telling you.

What are you claiming now, dear?

That satan wrote Luke 6:37?
Or that "your god is good" is a satanic lie?

If your god is good, I'll be fine.

Hebrews 4:12-13 (NKJV)
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Yeah, the generation that sees Jerusalem recovered by Israel. This one.
And you just got caught in yet ANOTHER of your lies trying to twist your alleged "word" of your demonic "god" to suit your evil purposes.

For that verse was specifically addresses to his disciples and nobody else. So that means THAT generation, the generation of his disciples.

You are really going to suffer greatly when your demonic "god" comes after you for making up your lies about his alleged "word".

It's obvious though that you don't take your religion or book of lies seriously though. As you only make up twisted lies about it all, to suit your evil carnal desires.

Hard to say how the evangelist interpreted "this generation".
The difficulty raised by this verse cannot be satisfactorily removed by the supposition that this generation means the Jewish people throughout the course of their history, much less the entire human race.
Perhaps for Matthew it means the generation to which he and his community belonged.

But following the statement of Mt 24:34, it is now counterbalanced by one that declares that the exact time of the parousia is known only to the Father (Mt 24:36), and the disciples are warned to be always ready for it.
This section is drawn from Mark and Q.

The message seems to be not to try and predict when the bus arrives, but be ready for whenever it gets here.
Matt. 25:1-13 supports that.

Wrong question.

The question should be WHO is your alleged "god" talking to?

So why don't YOU read the whole chapter and learn something about your mythology?

Exactly!

All the prophecies were to come WITHIN the lifetime/generation of HIS DISCIPLES.

And the verse about only your fake "god" knowing the exact time they all would be fulfilled and your demonic "god's" "return", STILL has to fall WITHIN that time period.

Stop blindly accepting the lies you've been brainwashed with, will ya?

Aah...but you misunderstand.
This IS the generation of Jesus Christ's disciples. Right Now!
Prior to Jesus there was the generation of Moses' disciples.

That God only knows the day and the hour is because God can shift time to allow for people like you to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
God loves you and is patient with humanity.

Well if you look at early Xtian community history - its clear they were preparing for it take plce jin their own lifetimes. Givig away possessions, living in ascetic communities - BUT mostly the very preaching of the ones spreading the word of Jesus' message.

And IF Jesus is actually this God - in form and spirit - then HE would know the time...! And as such would be able to give a time-line of its arrival...within the lifetimes of the generation listening to him right then.

Its documented that the later Church Fathers (after several generations passed and nada happened) had to re-invent the meanings to solve the problem of the failed "prophecy". And as such they just put off the event and expanded the idea of generation to be limitless. Also documented - the way these Church leaders decided that they could use language as they pleased and manipulate meaning to their own ends. They were so arrogant they had the nerve to claim they could make up meanings to suit their needs in their Apologetics.
