i have ideas but i am humble enough not to speak for God unless i find it within the Bible.

the Bible says do not kill or some say murder. quite a difference there alone. it does not elaborate on conditions that killing is allowed such as war or self-defense or pulling the plug. laws of man cover some of those things, but God didn't. that is a case in point where dogma originates. i despise dogma so i will not think for Christ. however, i will point out something He told us:

Matt. 5:

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The men that created Jesus the Messiah are long gone, so you can't ask them were he would stand! I think it's safe to speculate or ask current Christians. They will of coarse read the Bible and each one come up with a different answer. You would think they could just ask him directly!

Gun control:
He would not bother with it!!

Gay marriage:
He would not bother/get involved!

Birth control:
He would not bother/get involved!

Contraception:
He would not bother/get involved!

Death penalty:
He would not bother/get involved!

These matters are of the world: so let the world decide about them.
If you agree or disagree, but fear God does not, simply do not vote and let the world decide: for this is a matter of the earth.

Christians are concerned with christian problems: following the Gospel, reading and understanding it!

----------

- The Gospel is not the way you like to see it: it is the way it is.
- Jesus taught those who follow him only to Preach what he taught them - for they can never Teach you.

This is where Jesus was on sword control--he could not make up his mind--

....and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough.(Luke 22:35-38, NIV)

A rebuke is recorded in three of the four gospels: Matthew 26:52 ('"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.'), Luke 22:51

What do you care you are not interested in the truth or you would have come to Christ and known it long ago. If you put the half the effort into knowing Christ and the truth as you do in sowing evil you would know the answer.

I "knew" Christ for 45 years. Then the born again evangelicals came in and killed Christ and resurrected preachermen who are applauded and told everyone to worship the rich, told women they couldn't divorce and just "turn the other cheek", and made everyone vote republican.

Where would jesus stand on your bearing false witness concerning a missing child?

What do you think you need to do to be forgiven for that?

Where would he stand? It would depend on where he visited. In a Bible belt-ish area I figure he'd be standing on the wrong side of a gun...probably several.

Only a fool thinks born again evangelist killed Christ: all Christians are required to repent and born again. Thus, the true born again evangelist is preaching Christ and not his own Gospel.

No 'TRUE' born again evangelist preaches riches or fraud. What they say you find proof of in the Gospel and the words of Jesus.

You never knew Christ!

Why do you feel that Jesus would not bother or get involved with the death penalty?

So you let your political views determine your religious views? lol Seriously??? I mean because in your twisted opinion, you believe Christianity = republican, there for you changed your religious view??? WOW!!! I know many Christian democrats! Man does not dictate religion. It is what it is, not what you want it to be, which is why so many just like you struggle with it.

He would preach christianity,. but if confronted he'd say: do no no murder.

But, he would leave tha matter large for the world, for it is of the world. It are not christians that rule the governments of the world.
