I really am concerned for you- may I ask where did you come from? Where will you go when you die? What do you believe in? How can you see the beauty of this world & not believe that a holy God created it? Your body for instance didn't just happen. I hope I've not offended you, but rather caused you to atleast ponder these thoughts and hope you consider that there truly is a God!And whatever you decide- He still loves you!!!!
I came from my mother, in the same city, state and country that my profile says I'm in. When I die my organs will be donated to science, my body will be cremated and my ashes spread in the ocean. If by asking what I believe in you are referring to my religious beliefs, I am an athiest, I do not believe in god nor heaven and hell, afterlife, etc. I believe in science, I believe that the beauty of this world stemmed from a single celled organism and evolved into millions of different species over billions of years through genetic mutations.
You have not offended me in the least and I fully respect your opinion about god. I wish you the best of luck with that. What I fail to understand is how anyone can not question this so called being. Not to offend you of course, but have you honestly never had unanswerable questions about god?

I just love how when someone is incapable of brewing up a good rebuttal to a debate they take all attention off of the subject and begin to spew ridiculously childish insults.
Is that why you do it? Personally, I cant stand it, but if thats your thing, knock yourself out.

So you are saying that the people that came to America were fleeing the religious freedom in Europe and Africa at the time.

Your statement was people came to America to escape religious freedom.

The vast majority of early settlers to the Americas were indentured servants from Europe (thieves and petty criminals sold into slavery for a certain amount of years) and slaves from Africa.

A wealthy family of 5 that came to the Americas would come with 100 or more indentured servants and slaves.

From Nurse Maids to blacksmiths all owned in one shape or form by the Master of the house.

The slaves were not allowed into the churches but allowed to build it, the indentured servants were not allowed into the church but allowed to raise the Masters children and put the food upon his table.

Was it not a miracle that you were born of your mother? That a live baby could grow inside another human being? "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth." Ps. 139:14-15
When I die my organs will be donated to science, my body will be cremated and my ashes spread in the ocean.
Where will you spend eternity? Read Luke 12
God is not against science except that which defies Him. He created the world. It takes more faith to believe that this whole world and every living thing in it has been evolved from a tiny organism."All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."Jn. 3:3
You have not offended me in the least and I fully respect your opinion about god. I wish you the best of luck with that. What I fail to understand is how anyone can not question this so called being. Not to offend you of course, but have you honestly never had unanswerable questions about god?
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb. 11:1
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rm 5:8
I hope you will search the Bible, you don't have to believe me when I tell you God loves you and gave His only Son to die for you. He knew you when you were in your mother's womb, he watched you grow up and knew the person you would be today. He knew you what you'd believe. He has seen all of your failures and all your accomplishments. He holds your very breath in His hands. You can't exist apart from God. Yet God still loves you though you reject His love.

As I said before, I completely respect your faith in god and the bible. I actually have searched the bible and done very much research as I was raised a baptist and had several questions that no one could seem to answer, so I took it upon myself to find out. I feel that the bible is nothing more than a man written book of garbage (no offense) that was meant to keep people in check and give them something to fear, god. I feel that most of the ideas about jesus stem from the Ancient Egyptians and are nothing more than astrological nonsense that arose in a time when there was little scientific knowledge.

No one can prove there is no god, it would be stupid to even try... just like it is stupid to try proving there is a god, it can't be done.

1) Being gay is not natural.
Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, hot dogs, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay
In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.
Just like we haven't adapted to cars, fast food, or longer life spans.
4)Marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all.
Women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage would be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed.
The sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children.
Gay couples, infertile couples, old people, and couples who don't want kids shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children.
Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion.
In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home.
That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets.
Because a dog is a person too, and has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
11) Gay couples are a harmful influence on their kids.
Because all gay couples abuse their kids, daily.
12) Civil unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better for gays.
Because a "separate but equal" institution is always constitutional. Separate schools for African-Americans worked just as well as separate marriages will for gays & lesbians.
Sense much sarcasm?? Sure hope so!
LOL THIS IS OFF THE WALL FUNNY!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
