This entire article doesnt overcome a single problem we presented.
That is because you are not asking the right question. You are asking prove the flood, and I am saying that the flood is not what you should have learned. THE FLOOD is not what is taught by the story of Noah and I point you toward this article that will help you understand it is not ABOUT the flood, it is about astronomical data and understanding of the Earth, Moon, planets and solar system.

No, the site is extremely scientific. It has to do with the phases of the Moon, Earth and mathematics and systems of counting and calendar, you should read it instead of dismissing it as some sort of Christian propaganda.
Most "Christians" will foam at the mouth over what it says, for it shows there is some sort of reason to the numbers and times contained in Genesis and that reason has to do with the cycles of the Earth, Moon and mans counting.
As far as me not posting in my words there is too much info in there for me to put into words, but I will try.
The flood story has to do with astronomical events, and synchronization of these events spanning 1600 plus years. Why should I write you a paper that is already written, I can reference the original writer and give them the credit instead of plagiarism them.
I give you a good link that is full of SCIENTIFIC facts and you call me a Christian propagandist. Small minds a very shallow.
That's awesome, my only question is, what does it have to do with any of the issues I have brought up concerning the ark myth? Perhaps it is scientific, I don't know, I don't study the moon. From what I have gathered, all it seems to show is that the people who write the bible may have consulted calendar-makers at the time. Well good for them, but it hardly validates anything in the bible, and certainly not the ark fairy tale. In other words, your link is worthless.

Whatever. Somehow, I don't even think YOU know what you're talking about. Why are we not asking the right questions? WHY is the ark myth about astronomy? Why is there even a correlation? You and your link appear not to even have a point to make.

So, to make sure i get this straight, your argument is that "because ancient people can do math the flood is true"?

Because you think the flood story and Noah is about a flood. It is not about a flood as you think, there may very well have been a flood but it is not as you have been taught by your Christian belief system. You are asking/fighting the Christian belief BASED upon their belief of a world wide flood, THIS is not the message contained in the story of Noah.

You and the "Christian" talk about the flood, but that is not the issue that is taught.

You and the "Christian" are BOTH missing the point. You talk about the flood but the flood is a teaching tool, that connects the real message, it is a connective that connect THIS happened, then this happened, then this happened, etc.. The flood is the connector between these things not the story.

Not even close.

The teachers of the ancient knowledge would put the message into stories that the initiated would understand the message of but the masses would hear a story.

clearly you forget their raiding...but forget that, a desert isnt barren...the lands they traveled were not barren...far from it.

and why arent these drop-shipmets from god ever mentioned..? seems like such miracles would be part of the story...

this is trite and woefully disengenous.

because some "guys" say they are the "initiated" and only them - and can only "hear" the right message, it makes the claims true?

who initiated them? and those beofre them? a secret society..? puh-lease...

and whats the purpose, or the logic if the masses dont "get it".? youre missing the very audience that god wants to hear the message...

this is typical of those who want to "hold the only keys". they say, "youre not asking the right Q's." but of course she/he is...prety funny in my mind. just more obsfucation.

making up legends about specal language, secret codes, special agents, initiated in these codes, that are of course not understood by the masses...

these are the same folks who think there are aliens in area 51, and think the davinci code is real...conspiracy theorists feed off this mind-set.

but for all these secrets still no one has figured out to fix our sinful ways...and get us closer to this super-being...

sure, what ya want to know...?

because I dont swallow these things whole doesnt mean I dont have beliefs. they just arent the same as yours. but I bet some do cross-over.

but I tend to cross-reference and check and check again...seeking corroboration of facts, not anecdotes and propaganda...otherwise, santa, the easter bunny and gods of any make or model might be real to me...

when god publishes his own book, we can talk...otherwise its men, doing what men do. trying to gain absolute control over things that give them power over others...

Who told you God loves everyone the same?

As I understand it there are 24 elders, four beast and one lamb around the throne of God, outside of this circle are the masses.

Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Rev 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

Why are there only 24 seats around the throne?

LOL.....OK, now I think I get it. You're one of these tinfoil hat-wearing loonies who think there's some subliminal message in the bible and only the "enlightened" (you, of course) truly understand this. Either way, I was only addressing the christian beliefs concerning this myth, you're just going off in a whole different direction.

By the way, what is the "real message" you keep blathering about, but have yet to share?

You'd think the bible would be written more simply given its target audience of the hard-of-thinking.
