Hello...

In the Spirit of Lieral Christian's Stupid posts and polls..

And to keep with this forums tradition of stupid questions.

I've come up with my own Stupid question..

Where do Mentally Retarded people go if they have no concept of God, Jesus or Religion and have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their own Personal Savior ?

Amen Brothers and Sisters

American should be here soon to Spew Scripture as some type of proof...

If they do not believe in God or Jesus they go to hell. Plain and simple. That doesn't mean all retarded people go to hell, for some aren't that retarded and are still smart enough to know God and Jesus exist.

No, they go to heaven heaven. The Bible requires you to follow God's laws and believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. Deny any of these people and you go straight to hell. There's no passage making being retarded a sin, so retarded people don't go to the hell, but their spot in heaven isn't guaranteed either. They have to obey the Bible like everybody else.

There is a point of maturity where one becomes accountable, although I can't pretend to know where that line is.

Hello...

T...

What point do you think that is..?

Lets say someone who is severely mentally handicapped. That doesn't know the right from wrong.

Little more than basic life support human function.

How much is that person responsibile for ?

How about a new born baby ?

I don't think either of the two you mentioned can be held accountable.

This is absolutely a true statement. That is why we should never Judge anyones spiritual standing with God. I sometimes think that we are very limited in our thinking when it comes to the wisdom and awesomeness of a God that created everything around us. Stop some day and look around at the mountains and the trees...and the wisdom that it would have taken to set everything in perfect harmony that it would function as it does...that is when I realize that I know nothing compared to this GOD!

God judges the heart of people, not intelligence.

harper, I didn't post the tunnel. If my avatar isn't up it isn't me. I'm not sure what that's about.

It was a great answer on your part though...lol

Your name, Mercy, fits you well. You write often about the tender mercies and I find it very refreshing!
