As a living creature on this planet, a human being, we have a responsibility to protect that which give us life. The environment was not a concern in the days of Jesus Christ, but if Jesus was alive today (and I think He is in Spirit) I am sure He wants us to protect this life giving gift from God. God gave us the resources to use, but not to abuse. This stuff might not be in the bible, but it was not a problem back then.

Like I have said many times, God speaks to me everyday in real time. Abuse of our resources given to us is one of the major sins on this planet. We should not take our kid’s future away from by poluting our air and water. There is a smart way and a greedy way to go about things in life. I don’t think God would want us to be lazy and take the easy, non thoughtful way. It is surprisingly easy to do the smart thing and protect and conserve our life giving environment.

Shouldn’t Christianity be on the front lines to protect our environment?

Genesis said everything on the planet is ruled by people, which makes for sustainability issues.

<quoted text>Christianity is our on the front lines to protect our environment, which means protecting our children from you sick gay pedophiles. Abuse of sexuality by you being gay is one of God's greatest concerns. Leviticus 18, your sexual sins destroy the nation. You would rather abuse children with your homosexuality and make the suicidal and drug addicted. If you cared about our children, you would not support gay adoption and the pollution of this planet with gay propaganda.

For most of the fundamentalist Christians who comment in this forum the only thing that is important is getting into heaven. It’s a self-centered belief system and so long as the environment isn’t affecting them negatively they see no problem.

Why do you persist in bringing up homosexuality every time you post? Clearly you are obsessed with it, you're probably a repressed homosexual, and you definitely need professional help.

When Eve ate the forbidden apple, it meant, in today's terms, Eve sucked up a lot of resources and and unnecessarily polluted the air and water for her own selfish desires without any concern for that other guy or the giver of life.

Since it is the responsibility of man then it is mans fault that the earth is as polluted, morally and physically, as it is. Sin is the source of pollution. The earth was a Utopia before Eve believed satan instead of God. You can't clean it up so why do you think it is the responsibility of Christians? Christians are told to not have earthly things in their heart but rather focus on the heavenly. This present day earth is doomed. Period.

I'm using mine at present. Maybe when I die they will be used to help others, I just don't know. The majority of my estate will go to cancer research.

Now that truly is a gift for future generations. Much more constructive than your hatred of humanity.

Go back to touching c**ks, not my sort of thing but you said it was once yours. Clearly you need to do something to change your intolerant demeanour.

You might as well leave your body to science. It will only turn to dust anyways but YOU, YOURSELF, will burn and be turned to ashes. Little stinker, I have no time for your stupidity and vile hatred. You are nothing.

Nothing has caused more destruction to this planet, than the plague of Christianity. There is no way Christians will put the stability of the environment before their idiotic dogma. The Christian claim that the world was made to serve man, seems, in their minds anyway, a perfectly acceptable excuse for any destruction they cause.

Christians are supposed to care for the earth. But then again, we are commanded to love our neighbors, and pray for and bless our enemies (those who curse us). Many Topix Christians are a perfect examples of Christianity's failing in the later. I see time and time again here posts saying "I will give what I get" and "I am allowed to defend myself." Both are Biblically forbidden stances.

The earth clearly shows our failings in the former. I walked around my lake today and saw plastic bottles and plastic bags that the last rain storm washed into it from the road nearby.

God bless you and yours.
