What was omitted is Christ's marital status. The Bible neither states He was married or single. The Bible is silent on this issue, in my opinion, because His marital status is simply not important and it is none of our business.Seriously,
Maybe it was omitted because it never took place. Jesus is God and God had a divine purpose for sending Jesus and marriage was not part of that purpose. If marriage is such a great gift why are more Christians divorced than secular people would be my question to you.
I do agree everything that is important is in the Bible. Thank you for pointing that out.
Salvation is the greatest gift, why are so many not choosing it? Because we have the will to make our own choices. Some choose to treat marriage as if it is disposable and not the gift from God that it is would be one reason we have so many divorces. Unrealistic expectations, selfishness, and lack of obedience to Christ are several other reasons. None of these reasons take away from the fact that marriage is God's second greatest gift.
God bless you and yours.
