I'm getting in early. Let's put all out differences aside and enjoy the festive season - merry Christmas to you all.

Just it a quiet one here with a few family and friends - on the menu for tomorrow is-

Seafood cocktail

Hot turkey, cold chicken and ham. All the condiments of course!
Not doing any roast veggies here - just a few different salads.

Dessert - brandy snap baskets with mixed berries and cream.
Boysenberry and raspberry trifle - maybe a little too much sherry in there - oops.

Have a great day everyone

Merry Christmas to you.

"Joy is the true gift of Christmas, not expensive presents that demand time and money.
We can transmit this joy simply: with a smile, with a kind gesture, with some small help, with forgiveness. Let us give this joy and the joy given will be returned to us."

—Pope Benedict VXI, Homily at Mass on the Fourth Sunday of Advent, December 18, 2005
