Yes of course there were prophets after Jesus. The Bible even mentions them. If you don't believe me, I will cite it for you. Hence, Jesus was not the last prophet.

Tell me your stance first. Do you believe there are prophets after Jesus or not?

The Bible tells me that we are the children of the Prophets. When Jesus was raised from the dead:> he brought with Him all of the children of Israel and anyone that calls on the name of the Lord Our Father. The One and Only Saviour that we have. I believe what the prophets are saying from old that these are not Gods prophets , He did not send them and they prohecy lies in His name.
It's all wrote by the prophets of the end days, Isaiah is on the mark and I recommend reading him for all.

Then let me be clear and definitive on the subject

Prophecy proclaimed...

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Fulfilled:
Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Proclaimed:

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Fulfilled:
Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

My stance: No prophets after the coming of Christ, with any new revelation.

Your move...

all that mumbo jumbo to say no?

I'm confused now with your whole novel just to answer a yes or no question. Let me re-ask it:

Were there prophets after Jesus? Yes or No. And I'm not talking about prophets in sheep's clothing. Just prophets. A prophet by definition, is someone who is the mouthpiece of God, agreed. Just tell me yes or no if Jesus was the last prophet?

I'm not speaking of disciples, followers, priests, etc,. They must be prophets, just like Jeremiah was called a prophet, Isiah the prophet, Elisha the prophet, Jesus the prophet, etc. In your opinion, is Jesus the last prophet? Yes or no.

There are either true prophets (who prophesy the words of God led by the Holy Ghost) or there are false prophets. My question is simple. Was Jesus the last true prophet? Yes or no.

I think I'll let him answer for himself. I don't want any crying and whining later. But you can speak for yourself. What do you say?
