Godless ministers in the end times

88.- God said that His name would be great among the nations (Malachi 1:11; Philippians 2:9-11). Jesus in Hebrew Jehoshuah - means Jehovah saves. As we begin the 3rd millennium, over two billion people profess to be Christians. Multitudes more regard Jesus as the greatest prophet and teacher ever. As foretold, no other name compares to the fame ascribed to Jesus Christ.

89.- Jesus prophesied that even after heaven and earth pass away, His words would never be forgotten (Luke 21:33). As we near the end of the age, we see that Christ's words remain as accurate, renowned, and relevant as they were 2000 years ago. Today, Bible societies alone distribute approximately 500 million Scripture portions or entire Bibles every single year.

90.- Despite the Bible's numerous warnings and last days prophecies, many people would be taken off guard when these events culminate (Luke 21:34-36; 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6). Take heed to yourselves!

91.- All true followers of Christ would suddenly vanish, raptured (caught up) by God to heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52). A false explanation will deceive the unsuspecting masses (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). Today many apparitions, angels, ETs, channelers, and New Agers are offering a counterfeit explanation for this soon to take place event.

92.- During the Tribulation, innumerable multitudes from every nation would wake up and turn to the true Jesus of the Bible and be saved (Revelation 7:9-17; Daniel 12:10; Zechariah 2:11). See also: Acts 2:17-21). Today, the seeds of the gospel are being spread in every nation!

93.- Many from Egypt to Assyria (Iraq and the Middle East) would call upon the name of the Lord and be saved (Isaiah 19:16-25). The Lord is currently moving mightily to save souls throughout the Middle East. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)!

94.- Some would depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). This generation has witnessed the explosion of "heavenly visitors" and false doctrines that are embraced by professing Christians even though their messages contradict the Word of God. Channeling, witchcraft, yoga, psychics, etc., have also gained in popularity though forbidden by God (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

95.- People would reject the sound doctrine of the Word of God and follow the doctrines of men that appeal to their own lusts (2 Timothy 4:3-4; Acts 20:29-30). Others would confess faith in Christ, but not obey His Word (Matthew 24:48-51; Matthew 7:22-23).

96.- Many would forsake the Ten Commandments as a moral code: blaspheming, committing adultery, disobeying parents, stealing, lying, coveting, etc.(Matthew 24:12; Revelation 9:21).

97.- Idolatry would be pervasive (Revelation 9:20; 13:12-15; 19:20; Micah 5:10-15; Zechariah 13:1-2). An idol is anything that competes for the attention due only to our Creator. Statues, images, charms, false gods, angels, apparitions, as well as possessions, position, pleasure, a person, self, and any created thing can all become idols (Romans 1:18-25).

98.- Blasphemy would be common (2 Timothy 3:2; Revelation 16:9, 11, 21). Consider how often people use their Creator's name (God, Lord, or Jesus Christ) as a curse word. What they have done is liken the One who is the source of every blessing (eyesight, sunsets, food, family, friends, etc.) to a four-letter curse word. Fifty years ago, Hollywood seldom used God's name in vain. Today, nearly every movie includes blasphemy.

99.- Sexual immorality would be rampant (Jude 18; Revelation 9:21). Keep in mind, Jesus said whoever looks to lust has already committed adultery in his heart (Matthew 5:28). Therefore, God equates Internet porn, lustful movies, TV shows, and magazines to fornication. The availability and consumption of sensual products has exploded in our generation.

100.- Men would sear their conscience so they could continue in sin (1 Timothy 4:2). The conscience is where God reveals right and wrong. Con means with and science means knowledge. Therefore we sin with knowledge when we ignore God's moral law and violate our own conscience.

101.- Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, These signs have always been around (2 Peter 3:3-4). The Bible even reveals their motivation - they love lust.

There are many more last days prophecies (several too detailed for this brief list). However these 101 demonstrate that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true that some of these signs have been around for millennia, but only our generation has witnessed the coming together of every one of these events.

Contrast the Bible's 100% track record with other self-proclaimed prophetic sources and there is no comparison. The false prophets typically repackage and plagiarize the Bible's prophecies for the unsuspecting masses, or they make so many vague prophecies that one is bound to be fulfilled. Nostradamus did both.

Jesus also said that some men would be gripped with fear when these signs occur (Luke 21:26), while others would look up with hopeful expectation (Luke 21:28). Which camp do you fall into? If you're fearful, there is good news and bad news. The bad news is that God will judge every man who breaks even one of His laws. Have you ever blasphemed your Creator's name, Lied (white lies and fibs count)? Stolen (cheating on a test or taxes is stealing)? Looked with lust? If you have answered yes to these questions, then by your own admission, you are a blaspheming, lying, thieving, adulterer at heart. And we have only looked at four of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20).

My biggest gripe with the Church is that so many of them think Jesus is a Republican. I seriously doubt Jesus would want to be associated with eiother major political party in the U.S.

Why would anyone want to have Temple sacrifices, in this day and age?

You're right, He wouldn't.
They believe it because they blindly agree to whatever their ministers tell them.
Those Godless ministers USE God to get Republicans elected because it works. It started with Reagan and worked so well they've been using Him ever since.
That also crosses the line regarding the IRS laws and tax exemption, because you can't combine religion and politics that way.

Politics are more likely to corrupt the Church than the Church cleaning up politics.

Absolutely right.
I’d put a lot of effort into working on it, except that Bible prophecy says that many will be deceived in these days.
I think Christians still need to make the information available, so people have the opportunity to make their own choice.
I believe that many people feel that something is wrong, but don’t trust their own judgment and need to actually read or hear it said, before they can find the strength to leave, especially when that means leaving family and friends behind. In that case, I urge them to be an example, to lead the people away from deceit.

(Bible Prophecy article, cont.)
That's how God sees you. Keep in mind, God sees every secret sin of your past as if it just occurred. Nothing is hidden from His holy eyes. Also remember that Jesus rebuked the pious religious leaders of His day because, though they appeared good on the outside, inside they were prideful hypocrites. They were trusting in their own goodness, but the Lord saw their hearts. No matter how upright we may appear on the surface, all of us have broken God's holy commandments and need the Savior.
Please listen to your conscience. You know you are guilty, and should justly end up in hell. That's not God's will. In fact, God is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

The good news is that God has made a way to freely forgive us so that we may spend eternity with Him in heaven. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). God desires a loving, eternal relationship with each person free from sin, fear, and pain. Therefore, He sent His Son to die as our substitute on the cross. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Jesus never sinned. Therefore, He alone qualified to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross. We sinned, but Jesus died in our place. He then rose from the dead defeating death. All who turn from their sins and call on His name will be saved.
If these signs alarm you, thank God, because the Lord wants to awaken you from your spiritual slumber and give you eternal life. To repent of your sins and place your trust in Jesus Christ, make Psalm 51 your prayer. Then read your Bible daily, obeying what you read. God will never let you down.

Israel and Evangelical Confusion!

…over 80 Evangelical educators and ministry leaders issued a joint statement affirming the need for Israel to surrender its heartland in order to establish a Palestinian state.

Their statement was a very deceptive one that began with the declaration that they were motivated by "our ongoing support for the security of Israel." What nonsense! How is the surrender of its heartland supposed to bring peace to Israel? It would leave Israel a truncated state only 9 miles wide at its narrowest point, and with borders that would be completely indefensible.

Their first argument was that the two-state "solution" would benefit America's security against Islamic terrorists because we would no longer be viewed as the world's prime defender of Israel. This is naivete gone to seed! If Israel were to disappear from the face of the earth tomorrow, the Islamic threat to the United States would remain unabated. Islamic hatred of our nation is not rooted in our support of Israel. It is motivated by the conviction that we are the only obstacle to world domination by Islam.

The statement then proceeded to get "touchy-feely" by asserting that "the Bible teaches that God longs for justice and peace for all people." What about justice for the Jewish people? The land of Israel was given to them as their eternal homeland by God Himself (Genesis 13:15 and Psalm 105:8-11).
Furthermore, a Palestinian state already exists. It is called Jordan. It constitutes two-thirds of the territory of what used to be called Palestine. Also, more than two-thirds of its population is made up of Palestinians. Why is there any need for a second Palestinian state?

A Call to Prayer
The statement concluded with a call for Christians everywhere to "pray faithfully" for a "lasting two-state solution to the Holy Land." I for one have no intention of honoring this call to prayer because it is directly contrary to God's will as revealed in His Word. God has not regathered the Jewish people back to their homeland from the four corners of the earth for them to turn around and surrender their land to their enemies. In fact, the Bible says that in the end times God will pour out His wrath on those nations that try to divide up the land of Israel (Joel 3:2).
This wretched statement was signed by heads of the following Christian institutions:
- Abilene Christian University
- Asbury Theological Seminary
- Azuza Pacific University
- Central Baptist Theological Seminary
- Denver Seminary
- Evangelical Theological Seminary
- Fuller Theological Seminary
- Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
- Oklahoma Christian University
- Palmer Theological Seminary
- Wheaton College
It was also signed by the leaders of The Wesleyan Church, the Mennonite Brethren, The Worldwide Church of God, and the Vineyard Churches. The editor-in-chief of Christianity Today was also a signatory.

(Note: Now we see how so many ministers are not Christians = they’re deceived in their training, so they go out into the world and spread the lies they were taught because their schools and parents failed to teach them not to blindly believe everything they’re taught in schools.)

Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, and one of the signatories, is on record as stating that Evangelicals need to ask themselves if there is anything theological that either forbids or requires a Palestinian state. "The answer is, no," Mouw said. He added, "The question for me is one of prudence, and not of theological principle."2

When I read this statement, the first thought that popped into my mind was: "I wonder how prudent it is to ignore the biblical statement,'He who touches Israel touches the apple of My eye.'" (Zechariah 2:8). I also thought of God's promise in Amos 9:15 that once the Jewish people are reestablished in their land, "they will never be rooted up again."

Israel's Shrinking Constituency
Of course the statement represents the long held viewpoint of the leaders of the mainline, non-Evangelical denominations like the Methodist, Presbyterian, and Episcopal churches. And it certainly represents the view of the Roman Catholic Church.
This statement is a testimony to the fact that the chorus of Christian voices standing with Israel and God's end time purpose for the Jewish people is growing smaller and smaller every day.

As prophesied in Zechariah 12:2-3, the whole world is turning against Israel, and ultimately the result will be that the Jewish people will be forced to turn to God as their only hope. At that point, the One who never sleeps as He guards Israel (Psalm 121:4) will reveal Yeshua as their Messiah, a great Jewish remnant will repent, and "all Israel will be saved" (Romans 11:26).
That Jewish remnant will cry out, "Baruch Haba Bashem Adonai!" ("Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!") and Jesus will return to this earth (Matthew 23:39).
Hallelujah!

The Discovery Channel has a new series, The Amish Mafia. They have men with big guns forcing people to be financially accountable, etc.
They use blackmail, etc. and everybody looks the other way, but they‘re just as guilty.
Also, they can‘t even use bicycles, sneak around to use washing machines, use cars as long as others drive them, etc. but then go wild at parties. The whole religion is sin-filled, and just as fake as any other cult.
The worst part about the Amish is that they are not Christians, but do claim to be. In one episode, a woman explained that if they die without their heads covered, they won’t to go heaven.
That is completely anti-Christian. Jesus taught us the opposite - that HE paid the price for our sins and we just have to believe that and reject evil.
Christians aren't expected to try to be perfect, but they can't live sin-filled lives.

I watched that show too. The show was recorded in Lancaster, Pa. The young woman claimed that Amish consider themselves conservative Christians………….LOL NOT! The one old Amish pervert is a well known business owner of quite a few businesses, real-estate owner and a deacon who hired prostitutes and has his own taxi cab driver he calls to pick him up to drive him to the motel. The one corrupt Amish mob dude uses his Mennonite mob buddy to drive and get photos, which is against their religion, of the old pervert for evidence. Oh, but the old Amish fart will not drive or use a condom because it is against his religion, but screwing a prostitute and picking up STD’s and taking it home to his wife he’s cheating on is not against his religion…………………………LOL

The Amish are pretty damn corrupt, but they think they are going to heaven because they go to church, don’t drive, dress modestly, etc……….. What a fricking joke they are.

I agree. As an independent thinker, it's hard for me to believe that people can just accept whatever they're told, especially when it's about the most important decision they'll ever make = their eternal life.

As we've seen in all the cults, people will do whatever it takes to be 'comfortable'. Even Christians do that, but I want to remind them that true Christians have had hard lives in the past, and still are persecuted and killed for their faith today.

People, we're about to come into the worst times in the history of the world. There will be worldwide persecution, and no place to hide, so mentally prepare yourselves and your loved ones to have a faith that is so strong that you will die for it.
‘But whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.’ Matthew 10:33
