The folk story of Rip Van Winkle tells the tale of a man who goes to sleep for such a long time that he when he wakes up he realizes he must re-evaluate almost all of his previous perspectives.
The timeless story of Alice in Wonderland tells the tale of a precocious young girl who falls down a mysterious hole in the ground and ends up in an upside-down fantasy world in which all beings seem to be delusional.
Wine is made from grapes and those who refrain from alcohol are satisfied with grape juice. Both of these folk stories (about Rip Van Winkle and Alice in Wonderland) reveal that perspectives on temperance are gauged by focused choices.
These spiritual notions reveal the psyche marketability of the perspective-anxiety Hollywood (USA) movie "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" (1990).
