That Benedict will change his name this guy seems to misspredict: but is that name change to a
name never used before by a pope 'PETER'. In the end, Apostle Peter never was first Pope of
Rome, just an Apostle.

Is the name "Pedro" close enough to "Peter" for your conspiracy theory?

At one time a Cardinal Pedro Luna acted as Pope Benedict XIII to end a schism.
He was elected 28 Sept., 1394 and deposed at the Council of Constance 26 July, 1417.

But I wouldn't worry your superstitious little mind over things. The Lord's Church has much experience electing a Pope, this conclave will mark 267.

When a pope dies or resigns, the governance of the Catholic Church passes to the College of Cardinals.
Cardinals are bishops and Vatican officials from all over the world, personally chosen by the pope, recognizeable by their distinctive red vestments. Their primary responsibility is to elect a new pope.

Following a vacancy in the papacy, the cardinals hold a series of meetings at the Vatican called general congregations. They discuss the needs and the challenges facing the Catholic Church globally. They will also prepare for the upcoming papal election, called a conclave. Decisions that only the pope can make, such as appointing a bishop or convening the Synod of Bishops, must wait till after the election. In the past, they made arrangements for the funeral and burial of the deceased pope.

In the past, 15 to 20 days after a papal vacancy, the cardinals gathered in St. Peter's Basilica for a Mass invoking the guidance of the Holy Spirit in electing a new pope. Only cardinals under the age of 80 are eligible to vote in a conclave. They are known as the cardinal electors, and their number is limited to 120. For the conclave itself, the cardinal electors process to the Sistine Chapel and take an oath of absolute secrecy before sealing the doors.

The cardinals vote by secret ballot, processing one by one up to Michelangelo's fresco of the Last Judgment, saying a prayer and dropping the twice-folded ballot in a large chalice. Four rounds of balloting are taken every day until a candidate receives two-thirds of the vote. The result of each ballot are counted aloud and recorded by three cardinals designated as recorders. If no one receives the necessary two-thirds of the vote, the ballots are burned in a stove near the chapel with a mixture of chemicals to produce black smoke.

When a cardinal receives the necessary two-thirds vote, the dean of the College of Cardinals asks him if he accepts his election. If he accepts, he chooses a papal name and is dressed in papal vestments before processing out to the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica. The ballots of the final round are burned with chemicals producing white smoke to signal to the world the election of a new pope.

The senior cardinal deacon, currently French Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, announces from the balcony of St. Peter's "Habemus Papam" ("We have a pope") before the new pope processes out and imparts his blessing on the city of Rome and the entire world.

What these conspiracy loons end up doing is legitimizing the RCC, which they normally rail against and accuse of being Satanic and not real Xtianity. But by promulgating these myths, they legitimize the very ones they hate.

But here we see, mostly Protys, obsessed with this silly notion of the final/last Pope being a Peter, and therefore ushering in another End of it ALL scenario. Meaning they do believe the RCC has all the chips - and all the Proty vilifying of the RCC is prompted by their jealousy.

When is the "Sick of it All" period gonna be ushered in? Where Xtians (Protys for the most part) stop all these silly obsessions with trying to predict and then claim this generation as the End Times Generation...?

Go read the page. The prediction was made by Nostradamus in the 15th century! He published it under the name Malachy to avoid Papal execution orders upon him!

He predicts every pope from pope innosence onwards: and it happened! Understand? The last one is Petros Romanos, to be elected next week. Would he suddenly be wrong, after all those centuries, pope after pope????

During Petros Romans' time WW3 begins.

a) I am not your brother for, at least 'I' am not a Christian ( and I doubt you are).
Do you not understand that the word 'Brother' in this context denotes a fellow Christian??? Well, it does.

b) The law and doctrine of Jesus is a constitution of:
1 - what believers must do to become christians.
2 - how believers must behave when they have converted to christianity. This then is as good as a constitution.

c) The constitutions ( the do's and dont's ) of Jesus christ are then the church and all who join this way of live through the baptism ARE Christians.

So when Jesus says: go to the church, or take him to the church, he does not refer to the whore houses of today, but to that assembly of people who follow his doctrine: the Christians who are the members of his Church.

This is then the Christian Church.

And so Nostradamus back-dated the prediction, because, those days, to predict the end of the papacy would be suicide. Understand? The vatican would order him to be executed? They'd kill Galileo and many scientist etc., would they did not agree with the fools in the Vatican on SCIENTIFIC issues.
