It seems we all thinking Jesus is going to return, but there are many different views out there oh when and how he returns.
Which one is true???
Pre-Tribulation
+Jesus comes back and gets all believers and millions of people disappear and all unbelievers are left to deal with Gods wrath and after the 7 yrs, they enter into the 1000yr millennial reign with Christ.
Mid-Tribulation
+Half way through the tribulation, Jesus comes back and gets all believers and millions of people disappear and all unbelievers are left to deal with Gods wrath and after the the rest of the 3.5 yrs are over, they enter into the 1000yr millennial reign with Christ.
Post-Tribulation
+Every one goes through the tribulation, but only belivers will be shielded from the torture and Jesus comes back at the end of 7rs and gets all believers who didnt take the mark of the beast and the rest of the dead in Christ shall rise and all unbelievers die and await the judgement seat of Christ for punishment after the 1000yr millennial period is over.
No Tribulation
+There is no rapture and the rapture theory was made up in the 1800's and we will all go through the tribulation period and after the 1000 yr millennial period, Jesus returns.

I grew up being taught pre-trib, but I can see both sides of the argument for a pre-trib and post-trib

Peter writes, "But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.... Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace" (2 Pet. 3:814).

You are a fool.
You do not speak for God here, just yourself.

Stop attacking me.
Stop attacking my faith.
Stop judging for God.
Then, and only then, will you cease being a fool.

why do you waste your time with all that trash? The spirit of Jesus has always been here. You guys are just too blind to see it. Why do you wait? You don't have to wait. Y'all are so consumed with what some wrote down, you don't feel the truth. It's tight there for the taking. Did you ever think that what you've been taught is a bunch of crap. I did when I grew up! You guys have been brainwashed and too scared to think about things for yourselves.

It was just a simple question......get your panty's out of a wad and calm down dude.

You response has nothing to do with the question outside your hormonal rant. So what scriptures do you have to prove your point?

In God's opinion of you or yours? Big difference nettie.

Is the murder of aborted babies sin?
Is same sex marriage sin?
Is taking away and adding to the Bible a sin?
Is lying a sin?
Is taking part in God being bashed and blasphemed a sin?
Is being shamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ a sin?

Now it is up to you if you want to take this chance......I am hoping that some of us can talk among ourselves on this thread without fighting.

I believe in the Pretribulation rapture for many reasons. But here are just a few examples.

1) God didn't appoint us to wrath. The entire 7 year tribulation (Dan 9:27, Rev 6-18) will be a time of God's wrath on an unbelieving world.

1 Thessalonians 1:10- And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 5:9- For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
==========

2) Faithful Christians are promised to be kept FROM ( Greek word ek meaning out of) that hour (period of time) which will come over the entire earth.

Revelation 3:10- Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
==========

3) The period is referred to a time of Jacob's trouble. Jacob is Israel (Genesis 35:10, Romans 11:26)

Jeremiah 30:7- Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
==========

4) Daniel's 70 weeks (490 years) prophecy is all about Daniel's people, the Jews (Dan 9:24-27). 69 weeks (483 years) of it were fulfilled right on schedule when Jesus was crucified (cut off), so that leaves just 1 final week (7 year period) to be fulfilled for the Jews.

Daniel 9:24-27
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
==========

5) Jesus specifically named Lot and Noah when talking about the end times. Both of course were spared from God's wrath.

Luke 17:26-31
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
==========

6) Jesus stated while talking about the end times to watch and pray that we may be accounted worthy to escape it.

Luke 21:36- Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
==========

7) The caught up together or Harpazo in Greek (rapture), is clearly taught in the Word of God. This is when the dead and those of us still alive receive our glorified Heavenly bodies.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, 1 Cor 15:51-55, Philippians 3:21, 1 John 3:2

I thought this was referring to the death of the Messiah. He did get cut off half way into his ministries at 3.5yrs, so he was 33.5 yrs old when he died. And when he died, there was no more animal sacrifices since he died for our sins.

But I dont really see any point in Christians going through the tribulation as we go through trials daily trying to be set apart from the world. Just look at this forum alone on how much hassle anyone who attempts to follow the bible gets.
