Preaching the gospel of not having to anything for your salvation except believe is what has lead to these frauds. They call themselves Christian yet over 70% of their Biblical quotations come from the Epistles of Paul, and not the Gospels, and even less Jesus' own words. Just imagine the "Marketability" Paul has! You don't have to anything except believe! Combine a preaching of laziness and throw in the "prosperity gospel" of "sowing seeds" to get wealth, it's no wonder televangelists have followers by the millions! It makes sense these televangelist frauds have millions of followers because they preach to their congregation that all they have to do is believe and that's all they have to do to get saved (laziness) and tithes and sowing seeds it makes for such a great combination. Saying "the blood of Christ this...the blood of Christ that...In the name of Jesus this...in the name of Jesus that..." yet they never quote Christ! Amazing! Sounds so much more appealing than saying Jesus' actual words "unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there will be no heaven for you". No wonder televangelists claim to be Christian but never use what Jesus actually said. It's a shame because by the look of this forum, the majority of Christians on here believe the same way. It's no wonder they are multi-millionaires, even though Jesus said that it is difficult for a rich man to enter heaven; it's no wonder they are constantly caught in sex scandals because they are saved anyways no matter what they do because "Jesus already payed for their sins"! Just look at the megachurch scandal that just broke that involved a preacher who was actually his uncle's son! Incest, rape, fraud, and other attrocities were involved! Truly unbelievable and what's more unbelievable are the zombies who follow them and I hate to say it but there are a lot of those zombies on this forum who think Jesus has given them everything on a silver platter.

Matthew 7:21-23

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

If you sin you have to keep confessing your sins to God and apologizing. You can not hide your sins from God, he knows what in your heart.. and he will torment you ceaselessly in my experiance with sins he wants you to stop doing and make amends too.. once its all done, then it goes away like it never happened.. and over time you start to desire to sin less.

In that way faith can save you, you need to maintain a relationship with God in this way. never hiding anything he knows your heart and reads it and you become better and better overtime.

Hello..

A good friend of mines aunt died...

She was a Heavy contributor to a show here in Canada,, Something Huntly Street,, or something to that effect..

And when I say Heavy contributor,, I mean Heavy.. Like Life's saving Heavy...

At her funeral, this evangelist shows up,, decked out in Jewelry,,Custom Italian suit driving a Lexus..

I found that kind of Ironic.. I told my friend..

"He had to Drive the Lexus Eh! " Could have brout the Benz or the Caddy,, but nope,, had to show off the Lexus..

We had a good chuckle about that on the way home

They also chuckle when stupid people send them money. Imagine how stupid people are. This televangelist Peter Popoff was exposed back in the '80s for using a wireless earpiece where his wife would tell him a person's personal details yet he would claim he was a prophet and that's why he knew things. He also got exposed for how he would only "heal" people that had no apparent ailment. In other words, those people were pre-screened. He disappeared from the scene just recently he's come back promoting some "miracle spring water" and people STILL give money to this fraud. It's unbelievable how brain dead these people are.
