Those who don't please God don't get prayers answered.
I find that if I pray right, my prayers always get answered. "God, please let the sun rise today" seems to be effective.

SOOOO you are the one responsable for the sun coming up daily, could you make it come up a little later on and not so dam early!
I don't want to take all the credit, but I shudder to think of what might happen if I stop praying about it.

The day is coming when you won't be able to pray or mock God any longer.

There's a VERY good reason. Hell is the worst mightmare come true.

Matthew 5:29-30
29 "If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 "If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.

I can't recall ever reading a post from a theist (ie, theism in all of it's guises) who didn't think God needs to be pleased or appeased in some sort of way.
Personally, I find this aspect of theism one of the most difficult to understand or relate to.
As a parent, I chose to create my children and hold the opinion that I have a far greater responsibility to them than they do to me. I see that attitude as the bare minimum any RESPONSIBLE parent should accept in life. If God is a far greater parent than I, surely he'd take his responsibilities even more seriously.
I can't help but thinking God (as all theists I've seen describe him) is negligent. So what's up with God? Why do I need to go out of my way to please him? Is it just because he's a bully that needs appeasing, because he's an a55hole, or what?
So lets see.... You have kids right? What happens when they dont listen to you? You just laugh it off? Or do you correct them? Dont you expect them to follow your orders?

Because I made you for that purpose alone, do you understand my loneliness? I put it in you so you do.
