LOL, OK so are you saying you're not into any alternative medicines ?

Depends what you mean by alternative. Some people call the processed bark of a particular tree "aspirin".

But homeopathy? That's BS of the highest order.

How about herbal remedies?
I've had some good results from several types.

Depends on their efficacy.
Herbal remedies that work are called "medicine".
Herbal remedies that don't work might as well be called "alternative".

We'd also have a lot less elephants being shot for their ivory if people subjected herbal remedies to evidence based analysis.

They may be called medicine but the doctor won't prescribe them.
Things like Devils claw, St Johns wort, Evening primrose, raspberry leaf tea etc. can be really helpful.

I heard Paul O'Grady on Radio 4 a few Saturdays ago. He's into all that sort of thing. A bit too handy with the Digitalis for my liking.

We gave our previous dog valerian to get her through fireworks anxiety. As I said, if it works, it's called "medicine".

I sometimes take Kalms when I'm stressed or to help me sleep. They contain Valerian. It's very effective.

Heretical to YOU. You claim that it's heretical but that's your belief, however it may be that we're correct and everyone else are the heretics.
I'm sure you feed that self serving lie to yourself, but it does not work that way. You don't get to make up a bunch of lies that goes against everything Christianity is suppose to be about, then claim ONLY YOU have it "right". That's stupid.

It's obvious that you have some twisted "interpretation" of the book of lies, that makes it all about your self serving bigotry and hatred of certain people. But it's really ALL your bigotry and hatred, that has nothing to do with the book of lies.

Not so bad, apart from the 50 shades reference.

Got back from the local after two hours of Airedale carnage. Looked at all the provisions I'd stocked up on and decided to use some of it to make 7kg(!) of Bolognese sauce.

My wife watched Lance Armstrong self destruct on TV whilst I dispatched a rather nice bottle of Saint-Émilion.

I got the hubby the 50 sheds book for Christmas. It's really quite amusing.

That's a lot of Bolognese sauce, are you having an Italian themed party?

Sheds?

I received a copy of "Fasteners Monthly". There was an article about some women being attacked in a laundrette. The headline was "Nut, Screws, Washers and Bolts".

:)

50 Sheds of grey is a parody of and has outsold 50 Sades of Grey.
I have a feeling it would be your kind of humour.

Thanks, I looked it up on Twitter.

"She wanted to try phone sex so I pretended to be an IT support guy. It turned her off at first. Then it turned her on again."

"So, what can I give you for Christmas?' she asked, moving her hand up my leg.'Surprise me,' I replied.'OK,' she said,'I'm really a man."
