Is Our Idiotic Culture of Superstition Changing?

All but the severely deranged laughed at the Mayan prediction of Apocalypse Today. End of the world predictions are so silly they've become great material for stand-up comedians.... There have been so many failed predictions during my lifetime, there should be a magazine named Your Daily Apocalypse.......isn't all of this "end of world" hysteria a derivative of one thing.....Christianity? Admit it.....you won't be struck dead....I promise.....being struck dumber?....you're on your own.

Sad part is many people across this planet will have their Mayan Apocalypse today... just by dying...

Superstition is not an easy thing to relieve Humans of...most likely there is some genetic link to it all.

And superstition is not only in Religious, and quasi-religious belief systems...look at how superstitious Sports player and their fans are..! A player/s doesn't shave during a winning streak, wears something over and over...fans wear their lucky jersey's, sit in their lucky seats, perform some ritual they have associated with their teams winning streak...

Hard to erase all these things...my guess is that even good old education won't rid us of these behaviors.

How ironic. "Dont think like THEM, think Like Alkaloidus The Great and Wise tells you to...!"
Is there anything funnier than this sort of Think-Swap...?
You have misunderstood it completely, which isn't strange since you haven't looked into it at all. Alkuajatus isn't about thinking differently, it's about observing how you think and freeing yourself of it.

Look at the fools gather like buzzards. Jesus Christ said NO MAN knows of the day or hour or when this age will end.

I just point and laugh when I read it or hear it.

Yeah Danzig...do you think this POV is unique? Its still think-swap.

Sum it up for us...give us a brief synopsis of what Alkie the Elf says?

BTW, I did look at the site, its a link to buy some cr/p. Not legal on Topix, and hardly a means to educate people. Funny how those with the Keys always wish to make a buck...

I will give Jesus the man a nod here...he wasnt trying to make a buck on his ideas.

Typically apologetics only work on the delusional victims of childhood brainwashing and everyone else has a fighting chance!
